That's a fun overlap of trump voters and people who are anti deep state and then get an app that probably gets all the info on your cell phone.
As you may guess, I hate that fucker. He does appeal to the ignorant, preppers, trumpers etc... so he is well liked
More popular than Secret Service and CDC https://news.gallup.com/poll/257510/postal-service-americans-favorite-federal-agency.aspx Postal Service Still Americans' Favorite Federal Agency The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) remains the top-rated agency, with 74% saying it is doing an "excellent" or "good" job. This conforms with its No. 1 status in all prior years Gallup measured it, including 2014, 2017 and 2018.
That's weird considering how much bullshit about the post office being unnecessary because of FedEx/UPS seems to make it into the mainstream
I think that’s a loud, small minority. Generally, people like their post man, receiving mail, rain/sleet/snow, etc.
A while back their was a bill that was supposed to force USPS to shutdown post offices and it passed with big time support. When it was time to actually shutdown post offices USPS was not allowed to do so. Even those who bitch about USPS loves their local post office, it’s the other post offices that they feel is unnecessary. It’s similar to Congress, everyone hates congress and thinks that they need to be voted out but when questioned about their representatives and senators it’s a different story.
I'm indifferent on USPS, but seeing Republicans bitch about it makes me understand their value, on the other hand, I would shoot every Indiana State Rep directly into the sun.
Instead, their reporters all just quote his bullshit lies like saying blue states are disasters needing bailouts with no fact checks.
And they innovate. Anyone have USPS daily digest? It's pretty great and I imagine even better for those in apartments since you can see what mail is coming and decide when to stop at the mailboxes.
it also generates revenue. Marketers can advertise to go along with a mail piece that goes out. I don't know how effective it is, but it's a pretty cool feature. So say your postcard says to go to tmbpopsiclesbymix.com....when it's the day your postcard will be delivered, in the daily digest the mailer can pay to have their link and an image show up to "enhance" the postcard. So it's a good service to consumers AND it can generate more revenue for that government agency who can't do anything right supposedly.
It's clearly obvious and fucking stupid. It's the exact same way every fucking shipper operates. UPS & FedEx don't give list pricing to Target. Target gets an 80% discount. It's how it work. Don is just a jealous bitch and more needs to be made of him being fucking stupid
Really knows his demographic GA men drink disinfectants in attempts to stop coronavirus CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK 15 minutes ago By Johnny Edwards, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Two people in Georgia drank liquid cleaning products over the weekend in misguided attempts to ward off COVID-19, according to the Georgia Poison Center. Both men had histories of psychiatric problems and are expected to recover. The poison center’s director, Gaylord Lopez, said he did not know if the men guzzled the chemicals because they heard about President Donald Trump’s statements during a Thursday White House briefing, when the president wondered aloud if coronavirus could be treated by injecting a disinfectant into the human body. Since the pandemic began, at least two other Georgians have fallen ill from similar attempts to clean their inner organs with household chemicals, even before Trump’s remarks. So far, though, the state’s biggest spike in poisonings from cleaning products has been caused by home-bound Georgians mixing products together to furiously scrub surfaces, then falling ill from inhaling fumes. Last year, the poison center handled 49 product-mixing calls in March and April. This year, since March 1 the center has had 115 calls, Lopez said. “When you mix bleach with certain types of chemicals, you produce a reaction that can cause release of noxious and toxic gases, and if you inhale enough of this stuff, you can induce a chemical pneumonia,” Lopez said. The same trend has played out across the country with the CDC recommending disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and panicked shoppers clearing store shelves of such products as Clorox, Lysol and hand sanitizer. In the first three months of the year, calls to poison centers about exposures to household cleaners and disinfectants rose 20 percent. “There appears to be a clear temporal association with increased use of these products,” the CDC noted in a report last week. Georgia has also seen a rise in cases of children ingesting chemicals because their parents, distracted while working from home, left them unattended around unsecured bottles of fluid, Lopez said. Overall, poison calls have risen 9 percent this year.
The whole thing has been a disaster but the formula is pretty clear so that must be their payroll costs. Doesn't feel like a scandal to me.
i've already seen the preemptive defense for this in my facebook feed "if you thought the president actually meant that you should ingest or inject disinfectant, then you deserve whatever happens to you"
