double checked, and it says i have all 4k capabilities (minus dolby vision...thanks samsung), but my xbox says it’s resolution is currently at 4k https://www.google.com/amp/s/worlds...premier-league-games-windows-10-xbox-one/amp/ ^^^i was so distraught when i found this out a few months ago. had to watch either on my laptop or near decade old roku (that would freeze and restart literally all the time when i tried watching...as if i needed more angst when arsenal were on) mhmm mhmm i know some of these words (sounds like i should just go straight to the tv from what you’re both telling me) since that’s the route i’m going, i am now looking into digital optical audio splitters to see if that might help with the audio sync issues had no idea when i woke up this morning i’d now be looking into digital audio splitters, but here i am (i might be going in the wrong direction here, but yolo) thanks, chaps
right now it’s a digital optical cable from my xbone to my amp Spoiler i thought my amp was old as dirt (it is) and didn’t support hdmi connections, but i’m tinkering with it now and apparently it does. so that’s another option i guess
okay I was gonna say whatever connection works for all your devices, you shouldn’t need to spend more than say $10 on a splitter
yup yup if this was gonna cost more than $15 (would need to get another cable...which is like $5), i’d most likely dither around and end up concluding it’s not worth it just like our papa wengz taught us to
Played through it once. Pretty fun hack and slash style game. Will do another run when I’m done with Persona 5 Royal.
I’ve gotten into JRPGs over the past few years. Xenoblade, DQ11, Ni No Kuni, FF7, etc. I really want to try royal. Does it really take 120+ hours to beat? I’m worried I’ll start it and never be able to finish.
I’m at 120 hours and maybe 65-75% done I think. Maybe do Xenoblade Chronicles at some point too. side note: fuck octopath traveler. Got stuck in that game and may never finish it.
Bought Stranded Deep. First run, I couldn't figure out any of the controls and overheated. Exited without saving. Second run: I made it to night time, and then fell out of a palm tree while trying to pick a coconut to drink. Broke my leg on the fall. Don't have crafting skills to create a splint. Exited without saving. Third run: TBD, but I think I'll make it through the tutorial this time.
I've been playing it a lot. I'm on day 11... Barely. I went to another island, and as I was trying to check the wreckage of a sunken ship for supplies, I was poisoned by a sea urchin. I had no supplies to get the antidote with me, so I needed to get back to my home base island stat. However; it was at night, then the creepy ominous music start playing, and I see a huge hammerhead swimming up to my raft. It started bumping it, and knocking me out, and into the water. In a full panic, I climb back into the raft, but the hammerhead was relentless, and It eventually capsized the raft. I was underwater, terrified, didn't know which way the surface was and a huge shark was on top of me. I thought for sure that my life would be over before reaching the 10th day. Fortunately, I had a crude spear on hand and I just started jabbing at it, and did just enough to scare it off. Then I had to flip my boat while injured and paddle home. My health bar was at almost 0 and declining because of the poisoning, so I frantically searched for antidote materials, and eventually made it just before game over. That shit was so intense, but also kind of amazing. Loving this game so far. How are you liking it?
I haven’t played enough yet, controls are not ideal, it feels slightly unfinished but I enjoy the concept of games like this so I’ll keep playing it.
Once you get used to them, it's nbd. I had trouble at first, but once you get the hang of it, the game is super addictive.
where do I get more tarp? I found one on my island and used it to make the utility belt, but have not seen any more
There should be 2 on your island, but you'll get more by paddling to the other nearby islands. Don't chop down your Yucca trees, they regenerate fibrous leaves. The young palms regenerate frequently as well. After the utility belt, water stills (I have 2), and meat smoker, I've not needed tarp since.
So Subnautica....like what am I supposed to do? They don't really give you any direction whatsoever. Also, how do I get more water?
Did anybody watch the Series X presentation? Seems like people are pissed that there was very little to no actual gameplay revealed
DayZ also hit Game Pass. Never tried it before but used to watch it on Twitch so I will check it out. Also, if you aren't a Spotify user, Game Pass gives you 6 months of Premium for free. Seems like its about time I get out of the archaic past of an iTunes library... I think I am getting close to beating FFXV. Have really enjoyed it once I got into it, but it certainly took like 6 hours to fully get the hang of everything. FFIX is about to come out on Game Pass in a week!
How far are you? I’ve been to ten islands built a huge hut, and can’t get my crafting to level up beyond level four any ideas
Have you built all the tool things? (Loom, Plank station, meat smoker, fish trap). I honestly am not sure how I got my crafting level up. I just built things I didn’t have. Also, a 3 by 3 raft is helpful though it will need 2 sails (one near rudder facing the normal direction, and one on the front of the ship facing the other direction) as it helps not having to turn around and just reversing back to your island. Here’s my hut and boat fwiw. Also the gyrocopter is amazing btw, but you’ll need like 4 potato farm plots for fuel. Spoiler I didn’t build a floor in the middle of the raft and it holds 7 crates pretty securely . Shelter needs a little work to make it more appealing but that’s how she looks now.
The bounce lighting stuff I’ve seen is going to be subtle but add so much to atmospheres and environment the reverb stuff is incredible
a reply in the video thread said something about Xbox owners being salty so I made that comment in the Xbox thread. It was supposed to be a joke.
I also never played Alan Wake, it came out during a few years where I didn't own a console and I never went back to check it out. Also, I played with the Blowfish almost exclusively online in Super Mega Baseball 2, but I'm looking to change things up in SMB3. I've been playing with the "balanced" teams so far, but they are kind of boring.
Big Moose and Sirloins fan in the past, at least when I wasn't using a created team. Bought SMB3 last night, but didn't get much of a chance to play cuz my punk 8 year old was hogging it.
Been playing with the Sirloins on 2 the last few weeks. Pitched a perfect game with, I think, Manny Kays. Ego only on 50 though.
