I think the New York outbreak was mostly due to travel from Europe. Seattle was mostly due to travel from China/East Asia iirc.

Weve known about this virus since December 31st. The genome was sequenced and given to the WHO on January 12th. We did virtually nothing until 3 months later. Call these people out. That's the case for every incumbant presidency since WWII, isn't it? The only ones that don't win have been due to economic downturn ( not counting LBJ choosing not to run in 1968 ).
