$1,000/mo on groceries seems like an awful lot. edit: wasn’t thinking of families of 4+ in this instance
So I guess now that my Chase train is temporarily on hold what is the next recommended non-Chase card? I have only churned Chase cards so anything is on the table for me.
Barclay's is the next most inquiry sensitive bank AMEX charge cards or business cards might be nice for ya too though. See if you prequalify for the Amex Platinum 100k/125k offers
Do you know more about what is going on with Chase? From what I read most think its temporary through these times and basically that they clamped down on small biz card applications unless you have an biz account with them when significant capital.
I think the CIP5 train is dead. Y'all are not profitable and they have no reason to open that back up
CSR>Aspire for supermarkets but that resort credit helps...wish they'd do the same with airline incidental
This might be a dumb question, but how soon after a closing on refinance am I good to go on applying for cards again? Closing is Wednesday Afternoon, Is anytime after that open season? been out of the game for months, and have a bunch of wedding expenses coming up the next few weeks I would like to go towards bonuses.
Once you have closed and everything is done then you are good to go. Depending on the card you want and all that just realize that some of companies have changed their application requirements and what not due to everything going on.

Wife has been badgering me about getting some airpod pros so might as well drop 20k points on some. fuck it.
So Chase just announced some temporary benefits for the sapphire line for what sounds like the remainder of the year. 1.5x cashout (reserve) and 1.25x (preferred) on grocery stores, home improvement stores, and dining. Can apply as a statement credit. Back to $450 annual fee $300 travel credit will accept grocery stores and gas stations https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chas...cents-cashout-easy-travel-credit-450-renewal/ I assume for the most part its a no brainer to apply at least some of your stash to the reserve 1.5x cashout right?
I read the article now. Statement credits for some purchases like dining, groceries, and gas. Would be great if I wasn’t trying to hit spends on other cards.
I'm not seeing the 1.5 to statement credits as an option in the portal...anyone got a screenshot of where it's at?
Nevermind, I learned to read: Valid from May 31 through September 30, they’ve added additional categories for a simple statement credit to offset purchases in these categories:
