23% of republicans point out that their party never lets internal squabbling get in the way of controlling the bigger picture. Not even when that bigger picture marginalizes the very base that elects it.
Minus all the premature deaths from unnatural causes, the Trump family definitely aspires to be like the Kennedys.
It's really amazing. When the guidelines came out I thought to myself "Huh, These seems pretty well thought out. Am I missing something that the Trump Administration is doing something logical and well planned??" Well, stupid me...I'm not shocked trump shat all over his own guidelines and completely ignored an attempt to do something right.
well considering we’re blowing up in cases and we haven’t opened up every single thing, i’d venture to say not well
I read my post again and could see how it could have come off as me saying only large businesses have benefit from loans meant for small businesses. That wasn’t my intention. I only meant that they (LB) have and that was wrong. I am all for you guys getting help along with individuals getting help. I am for small business owners not losing everything during this pandemic. You know more about your expenses but I am sure that there are ways that the government can help you without putting individuals in danger. As an individual give me a small stimulus check and mortgage forgiveness (add it to the back end) would help out. I assume you’d know what would help you and it would probably be the same for a majority of small businesses.
looked at world meters about 30 mins ago and it said 1060 deaths now it says 1047 i’m going to choose to believe people rose from the dead rather than an error
You consistently used terrible information to make an incorrect point and got called out for doing it every time. Yeah, other people are the problem there.
Except I didn't and all I said was it looked like numbers are going down and people fucking cried about it. As recently as this week people were making a big deal about it. There's plenty to complain about. Me being right about the downward trajectory of the death totals isn't one of them.
With you 100% I haven't paid myself in three months since this started to make sure employees get paid - I take distributions from the company which means I'm not a W-2 which means my pay doesn't get included as part of the calculus for PPP so choosing to use that money for what its really for. I haven't received my stimulus check yet, would love that + whatever else the Government can spare. Rent forgiveness would be tight too. Thankfully had a few months in personal runway (I know other's aren't so lucky), but things are going to get tight here real soon unless economy gets going or the government steps up. It's unscientific, but I think there are alot of people and businesses who will really be getting desperate in the coming months. Seems obvious, but I mean in an exponential way. 2-3 months you can sometimes scrape by / convince the landlord to chill out but beyond that things get dicey.
My gym is opening back up Monday (Atlanta). Don't know what to do....just started low carb because I'm fat AF. Weighed myself Monday morning and it was the heaviest I've ever been by 5-6 pounds
Sure, if you were right, but as long as you believe you were right, that's all that matters. You're 40% of a stupid ass voting base from being Trump. Well done I guess.
there is no point in risking it if you’re not on point with nutrition/sleep/stress anyways. Waiting 3-4 weeks means nothing long term from a regression standpoint.
Mine does as well but not going. It’s the people that go there. They never cleaned off their equipment before and they definitely won’t just up and start doing it now. In all honesty if I went I’d be the only person there but it’s stressful enough at work trying to manage to wipe/clean everything there is no way any gym can keep up cleaning dumbbells and plates. None and they’ll never get cleaned and they’re touched the most.
Yeah I'm not really gonna go - gym owner sent me a personal email trying to guilt me because they're hurting financially. Pulling at the ole heartstrings
Does the covid survive brominated or chlorinated pools? If not, that’s the only gym related activity id do. I can last another 3 months without weights and just rely on body weight stuff.
From @CDCgov: There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation/maintenance (disinfection w/ chlorine/bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in water
Its frustrating Chicago didn't take this seriously enough. Been in lockdown for 2 months and things are still going up.
I'll give them credit, they've been really great about communicating and pretty into how we're opening back up. They waited a few weeks past Kemp's date to see how things would go. When I wanted to cancel in early March, sent me this (don't blame him) and I ended up agreeing to pay like 40% of what I had been paying. Below sent May 1st....the measures below explained: 1. Bring water bottle fully topped off so no one has to use the fountain 2. Self explanatory 3. So we don't have to share 4. So we don't have to share They're also 1) modifying the class schedule so the staff has time to wipe everything down between classes and 2) taking it week to week (Sunday Zoom calls to update on how everything is going) Final email today explaining they're just opening back up, maybe one less class or something but seems like back to normal. I'm sure there are a few small measures they have in place
Which CrossFit? I’ve been looking for a gym and will take your place until my apartment complex opens back up edit: nvm just scrolled down I don’t own half of that stuff
losing weight is 80% diet. Buy a heavy set and a light medium set of dumbbells and go walking/running. Seriously that’s all you need. The gym is cool for stress relief socializing but 100% unnecessary when it comes to losing weight. Go to the Keto thread and follow that and I can guarantee you’ll lose weight without working out.
