i don’t really care about the logo itself for unc. main appeal is the exclusive jordans and gear that the youths seem to love (except when our dipshit players got suspended for selling their team exclusive shoes)
Adidas fan apparel is fucking garbage though. Especially their soccer stuff as much of it has a ridiculously cartoony ‘Euro’ look.
The best stuff Nike has made for us hasn’t even been available for fans, and when it’s randomly popped up for sale online (eBay, etc) the prices are astronomical.
The UNC connection makes it less strange to me. Michigan Football having another schools icon from a different sport on what was already their own iconic uniform (making that uniform look less iconic to me in the process) is strange.
Maybe so, but I can't find Puma Newcastle stuff for the life of me. The only avenue had been through Sports Direct(Mike Ashley), and no thanks to that!
I long for the days back when you could be confident that the shirt sponsors produced valuable goods and didn’t have to worry if their human rights record was unacceptable.
Homes should remain classic with slight alterations like collar or piping Aways should be interesting but within a framework of 4-5 color schemes that get rotated. thirds should be designed while taking psychedelic drugs. I love those City thirds.
People are just choosing to ignore this most relevant factor. Mass Testing is needed to move on from this world wide shut down. In the EPL, they have it unlike us common folk in the USA.
You don’t think it would be better served to have those tests go into communities where average people can get tested? For each league we’re talking tens of thousands of tests
No. That point only stands for a “no test / low test” world that us normal people live in. Even despite that, our normal world is moving forward. We aren’t close to as safe as EPL is. Unlike us, EPL is doing what is needed to safely participate, just as Bundesliga and UFC did.
I am sure citizens can get tested if they want to, as that is the case here. Also like here, The communities don’t have mandatory testing like EPL. Is that your proposal? Mandatory testing for everyone?
Aren’t people still getting denied testing? I don’t think it’s as widely available as you’re claiming it to be
don’t know about England but I thought I saw some states have excess tests at this point because people aren’t coming to get tested. It was just a tweet I didn’t read the article in full disclosure
I think it’s more widely available than it used to be. Far more in some cases like Charleston Sc. I would feel more safe if everyone was tested here, social distanced, and wore masks, but all of that is not mandatory like it is in EPL.
bundesliga said 25,000 tests needed. For scale Germany has done 3.6 million tests and England has done 3.1. Don’t know what their current per day testing is though
738 tests in round 1 so hardly a burden on the system. Pretty sure a majority of the public would sacrifice ~800 tests a few times a week to have their national sport back. If it wasn’t footballers getting these tests, don’t be so thick to think underserved communities would be getting them. We all know it would go to the highest bidder or next socially deemed important group of people. Morally wrong yes, but the way it goes.
I don’t think I’ve seen them on cleats. Just some PSG kits and on gear Edit: Yeah the pro soccer direct PSG collection has 1 pair of cleats but they’re Nike not Jumpman
On the other hand, that means they’ve done about the same number of tests where the Bundesliga had 10 and only have 8. So that’s a positive but you have to hope that they’ve not now passed in on as clubs started training
weird how that one isn’t safe to be finished with liverpool set to be relegated but the men’s one is fine since it’s just the flu according to some liverpool fans
same for me just replace FA with liverpool fans and money with winning a title is more important than people getting sick. wouldn’t like it but i would respect the honesty
