Makes sense. Literally twice today in tournaments I had KK and shoved preflop and one called and he had KK as well. Then another KK I run into AA
See the posts above. Jake Barnes can get you set up. All the action you can want. Multiple 5/10 nlh and plo games going at basically all times. Lower stakes as well of course.
Did you not see that I racked 2k in 10 minutes? I have it all back yesterday but that's not the point.
That's the hand history of the app we play on. HE manager is a data collection system that's tied to the network you play on. The phone app we play on doesn't collect hand histories outside your current session as far as I know.
Acr is trash imo. Software looks like it’s 1997 and there are tons of bots. I prefer to play on Betonline. Less big money tourneys but not as many bots and plenty of fish.
This was a pretty awesome hand the other night. I’m seat 5. $50 Bounty builder on Pokerstars pretty deep. 511 runners and I get dealt KK. BB was disconnected and this hand he was all in with the blind. 6 seated table. Next two both go all in. Won $250 just in bounties and jumped to clear first place. Hand is in spoiler. Held it until 8 left and then I get JsQs on the button. 4x raise and SB calls. Flop is 337 two spades. Bet and then turn is another spade. We get it all in and the guy has 39 off. Rivers his 9 and I’m out. Still got another $300 or so but damn it was paying over $2k for first. I go on massive swings. It’s pretty crazy. I usually keep it to $1/$2 but had built up a bit of bankroll and jumped to $2.5/$5. There are guys regularly sitting on $1500 at a max $500 table. Lost a monster pot earlier with KQ against 99. Flopped 2 pair and guy turned a set. I still get it in good but the 1 or 2 outters just destroy me.
Been grinding out small wins on ACR microstakes, if the past is any indication I'm headed for a downswing soon. Haven't had any real issues with ACR but
Got to get on that PokerBros grind son. You'll never have to worry about if you'll get your money paid out or not.
Phil Galfond wins challenge #2. This was considered his most difficult opponent in the challenge. Wins 264.8k euros.
I saw Jungle downplayed the accusation when it came out. He also said he never played poker with Bilzarien. Any new developments?
Nothing new. Just thought the whole thing was funny. Bill Perkins kinda looked like a bitch in the whole thing.
Bill Perkins tweeted about a huge cheating scandal but he won’t out the players. turns out it was jungleman essentially multiaccoubting on an app against dan bilzerian. And bill got all pissed. *spoiler alert* jungleman got outted multiaccounting on PS like a decade ago. This shouldn’t be shocking to anyone.
Jungleman is an incredible player, and an equally incredible douche. Almost certainly on the spectrum
I like Bill but it's weird to me that he sticks up for/is pals with Bilzerian. They wouldn't seem to have much in common from a distance ...
So the Hard Rock here has opened back up with plexiglass on the tables to divide everyone and playing 6 handed. I’m glad they’re taking steps and hopefully things will get back to normal soon but I can’t bring myself to go play that. What’s everyone’s thoughts on live poker coming back?
gonna depend on what tournaments i can find probably. not that interested in SH cash, but haven't played much either. happy to continue with the poker clubs i have set up online, maybe up my stakes on ACR once i'm working again next month. my spot in WV is supposed to open up 6/5, gonna give them a call and see what their set up is and go from there ...
I was already concerned about catching something just sitting next to the characters where I play. I’ll be very hesitant to play live again any time soon. That being said, I do prefer 6 handed so I’m all for that if it speeds up play.
i guess so, but then again that coulda been their position all along? may call the poker room later and see what their set up will be ...
I went last weekend. I actually felt safer at the Hardrock than I do going to publix or walmart. I think they did a good job of keeping everyone safe. Its been 4 days since I was there. Played Blackjack for a few hours waiting for a seat to open in the poker room plus 1k. played Plo for a few hours plus 2k. Always improves the experience when you win
