Not caught up but rofl at this question What does the sun have to do with why it's bright outside during the day
Intense photo (or still from video) in this tweet. Vivid protester against hazy background...blood red lettering...powerful image.
Big nothing burger, as to be expected. Trust the system, etc etc. The U.S. attorney was spitting out a lot of platitudes. Just doesn't help to remind everyone how fucked our system is because it prevents people in power from saying what needs to be said.
Great analogy without an explanation. Was I supposed to poll the 50+ criminals I've caught on camera dealing drugs, destroying security lights, breaking into cars, and shooting on their political affiliation? Should I leave a voter registration table outside my house?
you didn’t research the neighborhood before you bought a home there? You thought if enough whites moved in they would just go away ?
obviously it’s getting filmed more I’d be dumb arguing otherwise. My point is that it has always been filmed. Hopefully we will get to a point where more people in power care.
Barely. They didn't act like it was any big deal. Just meandered about civil rights and an investigation.
I figured that after everybody laughed at you for your moronic question, you’d at least have the sense to slink away in shame. Here you are though, doubling down. Looking to claim that FSUDan Moron of the Board ™ memorial trophy, I guess.
i haven’t lived many places outside Omaha, Phoenix, and the Twon Cities but I’ve traveled a lot around this country and to an extent internationally, but Minneapolis/St. Paul is second only to Omaha in its segregated areas. The inequity is appalling.
Charging and convicting all four MIGHT bring change. Good cops have to be held accountable for allowing this behavior to go unchecked.
Charging and convicting them all won’t bring change until they charge and convict them the next time, and the next time, and the next time. And then perhaps one day we don’t have a segment of our fellow Americans who are a disproportionate target of our justice system.
https://kstp.com/news/george-floyd-...t-south-minneapolis-club-may-28-2020/5743990/ A former club owner in south Minneapolis says the now-fired police officer and the black man who died in his custody this week both worked security for her club up to the end of last year. George Floyd and now-former Officer Derek Chauvin both worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo club on Lake Street, according to Maya Santamaria. Santamaria owned the building for nearly two decades, but sold the venue within the last few months. "Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open," Santamaria said. "They were working together at the same time, it's just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside." 5 INVESTIGATES has reached out to Chauvin's attorney and the Minneapolis Police Department, but they could not be reached for comment at the time this story was published.
The politicians we elect make literally every decision that pertains to the law But what does politics have to do with crime indeed
minnesota freedom fund has gotten so much money they're now asking for donations to go to other local groups, they list them on their site
I can’t even fathom what it’s like to be a black man in America but the constant fear of being gaslit by the police has to be unbearable
Thankfully Cops finally arrested some open carry #2a guys walking around the city. Spoiler But they were black
