Sounds like they got a spike strip out and now they pitted him. Driver is giving up and sitting on the hood
Is there a reason they have to stay this far away from the scene with the helicopter? Two and a half miles seems a little excessive.
After constant reports of something about to happen, doesn't seem like much happened in LA aside from the high-speed chase and a few arrests. Other than police cars doing laps all night with sirens.
Just 3 weeks ago hordes armed to the teeth "exercising their 2A rights" descended upon state capitals and were met with zero resistance. Now it was mainly because they were all white, but also because they had the (perceived) equal ability in firepower to the police. Which is exactly the point of the Second Amendment- the government is going to think twice about fucking with you if it thinks you have the ability to fight back at the same level
Big fan of Chesa Boudin https://sfbayview.com/2020/06/sf-da...prohibit-hiring-police-with-prior-misconduct/ Also dropped resisting arrest charges against a kid because cops had body cams turned off. Id love to see this go national. Mandatory body cams and no video, no case.
right. For instance, here's the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for smoke canisters http://sds.chemtel.net/webclients/s...- Military-Style Maximum Smoke HC Grenade.pdf
Agreed. Unfortunately, most reasonable gun owners are not a member of any organization that would be able to put something like this together. It needs to be coordinated with protestors and organized so it doesn’t seem like a couple of random people showing up strapped trying to start a fight. I’ve checked the few local gun rights groups I was a member of before I moved, and there is absolutely no conversation about the protests. It seems like people would rather stay quiet than do anything.
Holy shit, first reply I saw was "Napear pulled the pin out of the grenade and threw the pin." How fucking stupid are you to do that shit?
Dude literally was raised in the Weather Underground scene after his parents (also in WU) were arrested and incarcerated, he's all kinds of badass.
Posted in the wrong thread initially: Where do people keep getting fireworks from? Keep getting gunshot notifications and it's just fireworks almost every time. I guess people were stocked up for the 4th of July?
The man shot was 34 and did have a gun. Still not sure how that warrants (at minimum) 19 shots. Especially considering how the cops have so much non-lethal equipment currently available to them. Sorry for the twitter reporting. I’ll be better.
the GoFundMe set up by Floyd’s brother has raised over $11 million https://www.gofundme.com/f/georgefloyd
Chapo was trying to elevate this fund that will split your donation between 60 different bail funds. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd
Here is another one started by his sister that raised $342,000 https://www.gofundme.com/f/george-floyd-bigfloyd
When people say there are a few bad apples they may be right in the sense that only a few cops are the ones consistently breaking the laws they swore to protect. How many cops cover for them though? Or turn a blind eye to broken laws when it’s a “brother in blue” who does the crime? This is what people are talking about when they say institutionalized issues.
I remember when we had a certain Auburn poster say we can’t bring these down because then there would be no art and culture in the south.
Lets not forget this thing in downtown Augusta... Spoiler https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augusta_Confederate_Monument On the side, it says: Worthy to have lived and known our Gratitude: Worthy to be hallowed and held in tender Remembrance: Worthy the fadless Fame which Confederate soldiers won. who gave themselves in life and Death for us: For the Honor of Georgia. For the Rights of the States. For the Liberties of the South. For the Principles of the Union. as these were handed down to them by the Fathers of Our Common Country. In Memoriam "No nation rose so white and fair: None fell so pure of crime. Our Confederate Dead
