https://sports.yahoo.com/michael-jordan-tape-saying-wouldn-230045080.html Rod Thorn called me. I said, “Rod, I won’t play if Isiah Thomas is on the team.” He assured me. He said, “You know what? Chuck doesn’t want Isiah. So, Isiah is not going to be part of the team.”
I think saying its just detroit fans is unfair, currently Yahoo and ESPN running stories that have been linked to their main pages about it. People are just out of things to talk about. But again its all over nothing, we really need live sports back
He's competing in a big blue Marlin fishing tournament this week out of North Carolina. In town visiting and going to swing by to check out his boat later.
Please, Jordan manufactured that trash talk. Fish probably ate a smaller fish and thought he was being taunted.
you think that’s clean... check out the print on his plane these days Or the Jumpman logo on the bottom of the jet so everybody knows who is landing lol
Bulls vs Lakers Game 3 on NBAtv right now. Not a monster game for MJ, but he hits a shot with a couple of seconds left to go to OT and then scores half the points in OT for the win. Edit- actually a pretty big game for MJ. He didn't shoot well but finished with 29/9/9 to go with 4 steals and 2 blocks.
Bill Simmons did a Rewatchabulls of that game and talked a out how his jumper wasn’t on but he still willed his way to find scoring opportunities.
Yeah honestly all I really remember from that specific game was the pullup jumper he hit in Vlade's face to send it to OT. That was a huge moment in the series that allowed the Bulls to get to OT and then take a stranglehold on the series.
I do remember that West Coast OT game being brutal for me in South Carolina. I spent that summer unloading trucks starting at 6am. Worst summer job ever, not counting the one where i had to go around and clean out the industrial rat traps.
Ahmad Rashad was on the Bomani podcast recently and talked Jordan a fair amount (plus other celebrities). It was hilarious. https://player.fm/series/the-right-...3976/not-so-fast-story-time-with-ahmad-rashad
Some dude on reddit put together a doc on luc longley omission from the last dance and its actually phenomenal. It almost feels like a bonus episode.
Watched it and wish i wouldnt have wasted my time. Couldve been about 10 mins long. Big guy from Australia is a softy. MJ calls him out repeatedly. He wins three championships because he played with the best player ever who made him decent. Went to other teams after the Last Dance 98 season with big pay days because MJ made him better and then proceeded to play terribly. Moved back to Australia and was miffed he wasnt in the Last Dance doc at all.
I’m actually producing a mechanic themed all male adult film called “car men” that may pique your interest
