Last time I went my fucking tube popped so I spent a lot of time with my arms draped over the side of it with my ass in the water basically crunching my legs in the air and trying to avoid scraping my ass.
Went by there earlier bc three taverns was too packed. Or their avondale one. went a few weeks ago to pick up to go food from west end location. They arent my favorite brewery intown (still great), but people that run it could not be nicer and both locations are fun.
Fits well with the alt right kids straight out of SEC schools. They also are taking down some confederate flag, auctioning it off then donating it to APD. Read the room, guys
I can only hope they go out of business and suffer tremendously as the GOP led nation reduces all social welfare that could help them
Some Atlanta-based New Yorker writer said he interviewed them once and they told him they want to make a pro-segregation movie
Fucked up to set fire to a business, but also fuck them if it’s true they are auctioning off a confederate flag.
I’ve eaten there once in 2008 so I can’t speak to the food but I’m guessing it’s not shit compared to Homegrown, Silver Skillet, Thumbs Up, etc.
Was it quoted in the article above thst I lightly scanned? Good book. Reread it a few years ago on vacation
This is what the dipshit owner had to say about their confederate flag “I am proud of the piece. And, as I’ve explained many times to those who seek to hate, I benefited greatly when that flag flew as did all other ‘minority’ groups.”
Yeah, I don't think they've read the book. Or they think the prosecutors and jury were right and completely misunderstood the book
In the book it's described as a dim organization. So great job naming your restaurant after a place in a book thst they called shitty
Are we even sure the jagoffs got the literary reference? Their other places are Bones and Blue Ridge Grill
All that spicy chicken making it go to fast Pretty sure the 11 Alive reporter had an erection over it
The AJC has become a trash paper in recent years but this passive voice headline is dogshit: Man dies after being shot by Atlanta police at Wendy’s drive-thru Should read: Atlanta police kill man at Wendy's drive-thru
Could smell the smoldering fire from the interstate this morning, really uncomfortable passing by knowing what happened.
Sounds like Summerhill got messed up last night. Think someone was just posting about how much they like it.
Yea its one of the best new corridors. Or had a lot of promise. The pandemic slowed down what momentum Ga Avenue had.
First time out in 100 days. Went to Grana's tonight. Staff wore masks incorrectly 100% of the time. Valet is stupid right now. Why do I need you in my car touching things? We were on the roof top and kinda spaces out. Inside didn't seem that spaced. Kinda A table of 18 people (mostly cute girls) I don't see how we recover if this is the same everywhere
I went to Monday Night and Fire Maker last weekend, and had really good experiences at both. Spaced tables limited to 4 people, disposable drinkware, ample sanitizer, cleaning tables as soon as someone left, etc. All staff were wearing masks, and probably 50% of patrons had masks on whenever getting up from their respective tables.
Grana me and the GF have been going often but yes recently the Buckhead girls have found it and swarmed the place. Firemaker was there 2 Sunday’s ago and every table was full. Glad to see they were getting business being a business that basically opened when Corona started.
Wife and I walk up there about once a week for takeout and it is the worst business I've seen in terms of overall safety. Masks worn incorrectly, no distancing and the bartender with no mask at all. The crowd is also everyone you hate in Buckhead
