It's been a disaster from the start. they were a day late and missed the boat. They took a big gamble trying to buy the best streamers but the reality is the platform>>>> individual streamers.
Wonder what that means for Ninja and shroud, moneywise. I know they're free to go back to Twitch or any other platform
They all can do whatever they want. Mixer prefers they move to FB, but they aren't contractually obligated to. Facebook gaming, hell Facebook in general, sucks. Been a wild weekend for the streaming world. I think some blame needs to be put on Ninja, shroud, and Goth. They moved to Mixer, but didn't ever play with any fellow mixer streamers. They didn't really help to promote their own service, besides hosting.
1) ninja talked all the time about what he liked about mixer 2) none of them are going to sign a contract if you are telling them they cant play with their friends regardless of streaming platform
i'm interested in what the contracts buy out look like also, ninja and twitch had a pretty bad fallout when he left
I didn't mean they couldn't play with their regular friends. Maybe ninja played with fellow mixer streamers, but I know Goth continued to play with his. I just think they should have tried to help grow mixer, by supporting other mixer streamers, more than they did. It's not their responsibility to grow Mixer, unless it was in their contract (which I'm sure it wasn't). It just sucks for the people who have been there for years, see these 3 guys come in and get multi-million dollar contracts, then a year later they shut down.
They could move to YouTube, they have some big streamers like Vikstar and Courage and the Call of Duty League. I'm sure there are others I'm not aware of too.
yeah twitch handled that split like some bitches. Luckily they learned their lesson there. the porn streaming on ninja’s Twitch was horrible and I’m curious if those fences are mendable. I honestly don’t see ninja going to YouTube.
I just hate Facebook's layout, and it's so hard to navigate on the app. Plus Zuckerburg is a real POS.
reportedly ninja/shroud were offered to double their contracts to stay on over to facebook both declined and got bought out at full value so are free agents
I could see ninja going to YT during the last fortnite event, lazarbeam hit 960k live viewers and something like that could sit in ninja's head as a reminder
Holy shit Ninja got generational wealth in one single year. I really wish there was a way to know just how much money he has made since late 2017. It has to be absurd
I'm predicting Ninja to YouTube as well. He's close with that Courage guy and his stream has been really exploding lately
Been thinking about watching courage play GOW. He’s that perfect kind of over emotional type to make that a fun watch
I'm able to handle him because I followed the Call of Duty pro scene. He can be annoying but he genuinely seems like a really good person
He was my go to early on with Fortnite for that reason exactly. He’s had some legendary calls in the league. He got old tho just like most of the popular Fortnite guys
courage seems way better off stream than on stream he's also way better in a group stream than by himself when he's by himself he seems to overplay everything because he thinks it's a bunch of little kids watching
Before he blew up he would go into custom cod lobbies and create matches between bots and he would cast the bots fighting each other. It was top tier content
really brilliant move by ninja/shroud. they had to know mixer would fail and they could get out with everything quickly.
It really is hilarious that everyone ran with Classys opinion on the ban that kid may have 12 total brain cells
slasher is a weird guy but he seems to be the most credible person on this stuff so i largely just trust whatever he says
Yeah assuming the individual went through a lawyer and or went directly to heads of twitch with concrete evidence
