Not that we haven't watched it a billion times already, but Infinity War begins it's TNT run starting this Saturday night.
Thor, Groot, and RR restarting the star is one of the best parts of a movie that has a lot of really good parts.
God, the character of Thanos is so good. Forget for a moment the drive he has in the belief that he’s doing what must be done for the good of the universe, but then according to the soul stone, he kills the only thing he loves...the drive to succeed, to make it worth it...so good.
Lotta “posters” watching Infinity War tonight. No one commenting on Doc Strange v Thanos. Does not compute.
I love that all of us and everyone else trying to predict who had the Soul Stone, and nobody was in the same stratosphere as what happened on Vormir.
Makes you wonder, does the soul stone just teleport itself back to Vormir after its current holder dies or what? Thanos can't be the first ever person in the universe to obtain it can he?
Feel like you can’t show it in the context of IW though. Would have ruined the mood. BUT if he’d had it with him when Bucky showed up, that would have been perfect.
snowfx2 please correct thread title. “Mad Titan Appreciation Thread” Thanos didn’t snap half of the universe out of existence just to be called a Titan.
Of course you wouldn’t have shown it in Infinity War but you pay that off in endgame, something along the lines of Rocket carrying the arm around the Avengers facility and cap/Sam/Black Widow taking it away from him.
Silvestre da gawd But then when Doc Strange opened up the portals hundreds of naked superheroes would be rushing through.
Have been rewatching and watched Infinity War tonight. Just kept thinking about how amazing it was to see in theater and how stunned I was when it ended. Russo brothers are geniuses
I had the biggest ass shit eating grin. Was so happy they actually did the snap. Kid was in tears and I loved it. Then when I realized they basically just left the OGs, man that was so good.
I saw a kid run out of the theater when Spider-Man got dusted. The kid yelled “No!” then ran out. It was my 2nd or 3rd time, and watching everyone’s reaction was amazing.
With my mom for my second viewing, and she sat through the whole ending of IW and didn’t say anything until we were in the parking lot. She didn’t know there was a part 2 and thought the snap was how the last 10 years just ended.
Like is the human body capable of watching Cap catch that spear behind the train and step out into the light with that Beard without precumming a bit? Doubtful.
