Warning - Be careful if you're afraid of heights, for everyone else this is pretty awesome. Can't help but think of all the ways it could have gone wrong though. Good on that dude but holy shit he wasn't even strapped in.
I saw this on twitter and stared at it for a while trying to figure out why the 49ers fan was talking shit. Just now saw the blue lives matter flag. haha
FDNY hasn't carried them on the rigs for years. It was still used in probie school when I got on, but more to weed out the people who were scared of heights. First week of school we did the pompier, single rope slide and the roof evolution with the life saving rope in one day. Got rid of the "no heights" guys quickly. We used the single-beam style-- hadn't seen the two-beam style before-- unless you count a roof ladder with hooks. I know they still use them in training around New England. Not sure anyone in the US still carries them on rigs, but I know some younger people are trying to bring them back. The trick to not falling with the single-beam style is to get your weight pulling downward on the beam before your body leaves the windowsill, or the ladder will slip out. If you step on one rung or swing it around before your weight has the hook locked down, it can come out of there. Last rescue with one in NYC:
She has a masters in social psychology from the London School of Economics. That tweet was a pretty hilarious, self-aware joke.
If go further down her reddit rabbit hole you’ll find her being fucked. I assume that dude is the camera guy.
From the source, the seal got hit by a boat pretty badly and now lives at an animal sanctuary in Playa del Carmen. So he hasn't been bred in captivity or anything, he just can't live in the wild. He's getting lots of treats and looks like he's having a good time so I wouldn't be too worried :)
Look, I know her skin is pale af but can we at least get some kind of confirmation the girl isn't native american(I recognize she probably isn't) before the internet goes all batshit on someone?
