Dunk prices right now are so dumb. I like them, always liked the look, it’s just funny as hell to me that shit that was hitting outlets a decade ago for $40 are now pushing $500-$1000/pair simply because Travis Scott wears them. Let him wear some denim dunks and I’d sell mine on goat with the quickness.
I was kinda surprised by the pricing. They talked a lot about how things would be less than market bc most of it was without boxes but some of it was waaaaay over market. $7k for used am1 purple denim with replacement box? Yea right. $1500 for worn am1 Cords with a replacement box? No. It seems like they went off low ask on Stockx and didn't factor in latest sales/high offers or that Stockx is all ds pairs.
Super rare stuff, 1 of 1 type stuff, I get it. But some stuff he has 4 pairs, 1 in his size and 3 much bigger sizes. Makes sense though. I have some pairs way off of my size. They didnt fit but I was able to get st retail with the thought of trading for my size, just mever did. I'll sell them off one day.
Na they are all under the Mayor collection and Jaysee said in the video that they were somehow tagging all Mayor orders so people could show it was from his collection and share it back with Mayor. Not going to lie, I watched the 2.5 hour video last night while playing poker. I like both of the guys and saw a lot of shoes I didn't know existed. His cashmere AF1's were insane.
Got a pair of used UB 1.0 Solar Yellows for $85 on Goat. They looked super clean in pics. We'll see I guess. Worth the risk at that price.

Big fan of Jaysee. Comes across as a great dude. Feels weird saying that about a reseller but oh well. As for Mayor, his story is pretty cool. Jaysee talked about it in the video but its probably impossible for his collection to happen today. He got soooooo much stuff directly from Nike and got taken care of by so many stores. That doesn't happen today. Nike only looks out for celebs that can get clicks and stores have so much turnover that they arent looking out for many collectors now. They look out for resellers that are paying them to do so. And then they get fired for it and another guy comes in. I mean Nike gave the guy 1/5 Jeter highs like 6 months before Jeter retired and they released them and told him to not post about them. They made him a Bespoke AF1 when he hit 1k AF's. They made him a Yankees AF1 when the Yankees won the series. He had a really cool relationship with the brand.
I miss often on there...just don’t say anything often when I miss unless it’s a shoe people are talking about. I try for a lot of shoes. It’s why I don’t get too upset when I miss. There’s so many good releases. I’ve hit two out of about thirty dunk attempts on snkrs.

Ha I have the same pair, got them new for $60 on eBay. Bought them strictly for the insoles. The colorway is nice but for some reason way more uncomfortable than my older dunks with the fat tongue

Pretty sure those are DNAs, not 1.0. I’m not a fan of the DNAs at all. Between the toe cage not being primeknit and the tongue not being primeknit, it sucks.
