i love chapter 2, Leeroy Jenkins! loves chapter 3, I’d probably pay $135 for one, $120 was retail for it in florida
Chapter one is meh but it was also produced in a pre premium bourbon economy, chapter two is good, some people love the 40 yr old Canadian whiskey, I am a barrel proof whore so I love #3 bc it's bp knobb, booker's, bakers and basil Hayden's. Haven't had #4 yet
For the Ohio guys on here, have you seen Weller 107 on the shelves recently? I’m passing through Toledo and would stop.
Went to Indiana for the weekend, said I wasn’t going to buy booze came home with two 4 packs of Three Floyds, a twelver of goose island White Sox beer, a bottle of gin from Argentina, a bottle of Redemption 9yr, and bottle of Baby Saz excited to get drunk tonight as I only paid for the Baby Saz
Update: I got 4 Shenks. Personally missed on: OF15 Bombergers M10 However, a buddy I mule for got 2 of each and he's giving me one of each for cost in exchange for doing the muling and shipping to him. So win?
https://bourbonpaddy.wordpress.com/...sted retail price,$100 to buy with confidence. this says 80 suggested retail. K&L did sell it for 45 though.... interesting
I’ve only encountered it once and they were asking $115. That was also a store not exactly known for selling at retail.
I'm not going to lie. I'm blew through my Boone County and bought another one. Drove by the distillery last week and wanted to stop but COVID.
I don’t think I will be keeping it. Unless I sample it out to recoup the cost. Wife will kill me over the cost.
Got to the email 10 minutes late and all that id want was already sold out. Ended up with Bookers Granny’s Batch
Bought an Elijah Craig store pick today. Guess we will see. I had a lot of difficulty making a decision.
Went golfing with the boss yesterday, his business partner, and our other co-worker from Michigan. He (guy in mich) does not drink bourbon but always brings a gift bottle for my boss. He said he stopped at a store and asked to be recommended a bourbon that my boss likely hasn't tried, he then produced a ECBP from his golf bag. I think he paid like 100+ for it, so definitely over paid, said it was at a shop in Lansing. We killed the bottle between our foursome, delightful pour over ice. I could barely walk on 18 but almost holed out from 90 yards on a par 5, hit the pin and rolled about 3 feet away. I then missed the birdie putt and had to buy drinks. Not sure I've ever gotten more shit for a missed putt in my life but the ECBP definitely caused me to hit that approach and miss that putt...
Has anyone had Davidson Reserve? There was also a store pick of that, but I went with the Elijah Craig instead.
