    Yeah she's a symptom of the larger problem.

    Had they not cut her and instead adapted the books more faithfully they could have gotten a few more years of content out of the show before reaching the "making shit up" phase.

    Of course, even if they had done that, they'd still be in the making shit up phase, since George STILL hasn't finished another book.

    really? I think it’s clear they had nowhere to go with her based on the books so introducing her would quickly veer into “making shit up.”

    I guess unless George would share a lot of notes about it
