wtf is wrong with college football fans when instagram filtered video of guys doing drills is enough to get people all riled up. I also like the Kicker ending like 'heh heh yeah boys we got field goals this year "
Took a peek at their takeout menu just now..."please inform us of any food allergies real, or imaginary" I like the cut of their jib
It would be hard to envision a worse group of what I'll generously call journalists than the OWH employs. And that's not even including super sick dude Chris Heady, who fortunately left recently.
That guy is going to be a classic Big 8 basketball shitbird opponents love to hate. Julius Mickalik, Raef LaFrentz, infinity OK State whites with flat tops that rain threes, Fred Hoiberg, Wilhelm Breidenbach, Bryant Reeves, John Sundvold.
Skimming the thread to see what I missed - Huskers football players are Proud Boys? Yikes, but not surprising!
to be honest if we have a field goal kicker that would be a change from last year so I get the excitement
Damn the NSAA must be paying well these days I'm curious to hear about the experience though, I'd love to try it myself
Our favorite Lamar Jackson just got blocked by Brett Rypien. And it allowed Melvin Gordon to score a long TD. History repeats itself
Yes guys that Lamar Jackson is starting for the #New York Jets. What kind of shit show is the ownership and staff trying to cook up in NY
We'll see who the true Husks are in here. Name a Husker basketball player that shattered a backboard and which opponent was it against?
Didn't watch the game but the tackling looked like complete shit from both sides in the highlights I watched. Sam Darnold housing a 50 yarder says it all.
I'd never seen a team scheme their run game towards a specific corner's side, but Lamar Jackson made it a reality in college. Was a simple strategy, hold the DE, beat the disgustingly slow linebacker to the outside and then breathe on the corner so he falls down and boom no one setting the edge.
Nice thing is this season doesn't count towards eligibility so hopefully some under the radar types can provide good depth and we don't have to worry about burning a redshirt then.
Could be a fun thing to watch Jets' opponents the next few weeks and see who has done their homework (IF Lamar is still playing).
The MUTHER FUCKING COMET. No question. Without doubt. How a dolt could question this blows my mind. 1 Comet, 2 Bud, 3 Fucck you.
18 fucking inches. Its all he needed. He was asked if he could see all 22 players he said “of course not, I could only see a few players, but I could feel all 22, I always could feel where everyone was”
Dan Bernstein of Chicago radio fame is a husk, his dad played with Gale at Central. His dad talked about him after he died. Told the urban legend, he went to state finals his freshman year track for every sprint event (which he won). Their long jump finalist got hurt and they were allowed a sub. Coach told Gale to go do it, Gale was dumbfounded, he’d never long jumped in his life and didn’t know how. Coach said “go do it”. Gale did, first jump, state record. Coach was freaking out and Gale walked back shaking his head “I jumped off my weak foot coach, I need to start back a step”. Second attempt, national record. The goat.
Some dean feature like talking tunnels or scone chat mentioned Manning having some ‘bumps and bruises’ heard anything else on this? Sport mo is to undersell it probably decapitated his kneecap or some shit.
I like that in the era of Gale the end zones were guarded with flags that looked eager to impale anyone who dare fall on them.
There’s a lot of dumb in that tweet but “declining levels of play” takes it. Yes it’s terrible that teams have more than two consistent scoring threats at any one time
I sure gave scoot farts hell for cruddin all over JD last Fall. Add that to the growing list of pn$krt's bad opinions
I was wondering the impact of picking a new school so late would have on JD. Could see him having a bigger impact in the second half of the season. He’s had a couple OK returns today, two may have came back due to a flag though.
I was watching the NBA more than ever this year and the declining levels of play is hilarious. NBA players are the best of the best when it comes to pure athleticism and coordination.
Take 10 minutes to watch any playoff game from the 90s and compare it to today. Today's play is so much better, it's not even close. You can't compare eras, but saying play is declining is just laughable. Now, losing 30% of the national fan base because they want their sports to shut up and dribble, then you're gonna have a bad time.
I underestimated just how damned mad it makes people that athletes are standing up for black equality. Sip included. Declining play? GTFOH.
