That was enjoyable. d Line is still so underwhelming. Even with the scheme change I would have expected more
Nice to see a great game between Schultz and Bell from TE spot. Way less panicked with the Jarwin injury secondary is just not good. Jaylon off to a poor start this season, he looks slower than last year and equally confused
While that first quarter was physically painful to watch, there is one thing I really enjoyed about yesterday. For close to a decade, anytime we were missing key players or things went wrong, this team under jason garrett rolled over and died. They were terrible at adjusting and many would say mentally not very tough. To watch them get into that big of a hole and fight all the way back to win that game was really something special. I feel for Falcons fans though. I cannot even fathom how much they hate Dan Quinn right now
Cleveland is just trying to burn some clock into the half but we’re going to let them score because our run defense is historically shitty
Remember when they said all the signings would be good for dallas’s defense. Give Dak all the money lol
Can you guys imagine how badly this D gets abused by this offense in practice? I want to beat Worley with a bag of soap
Gonna go take $1000 in nickels out of the bank so we can all bag them up and attack the defense outside The Star this week
After having a day to calm down and think through it without all the emotion of such a horrible loss fresh in my mind, I think the immediate move is to fire Mike Nolan. Nolan was a garbage head coach 12 years ago (18-37). He was a garbage defensive coordinator 6 years ago (his defenses were never ranked higher than 24th). This guy got shredded by offenses in 2014. I am sure offenses in 2020 look like something from science fiction to him. I think his innate garbageness has trickled down to every nook and cranny of the unit. Players we have seen play at LEAST adequately in the past are now playing horribly. You combine that with the injuries you have recipe for the disaster you see every Sunday now. Fire Mike Nolan. Yesterday.
It’s not just him. There’s a lack of effort from the players. Loafing, bad angles, and just slow reactions is on the players. This isn’t HS where you can blame coaching for those things.
I don't disagree at all I am just saying we have seen these same players play pretty well before so it makes me look for what has changed. It could be that the guys missing provided a lot more than we think they did. It could be that the players missing preseason had some crazy impact. It could be that they all just became unmotivated pieces of shit. It could be the coaches suck ass. It could be all of those at the same time.
