I swear to god if you guys start the sock shit again I’ll talk about who I think is going to win the election over and over and over again.
Somehow I missed that, back to the Adidas app. Wish I had seen it earlier, 30% off entire orders if they include shoes right now.
Concord is a blueish purple color for Nike. I always thought it was weird that the Concord 11s were named after a color that only shows in hits on the sole.
Can you make it relatable? You know, talk about local and state politicians Didn't even bother with either the 3's or 4's this morning.
Random story but my son suddenly wanted to get some tie shoes and the only decent ones at the employee store were AJ1 that looked like mid breds. He learned in a day and now has cooler looking sneakers than I do.
This is pretty cool. Some of y'all should try to do it imo. https://sneakernews.com/2020/10/13/adidas-futurecraft-ultra-boost-dna-loop-creators-club/ Among the the more innovative approaches to sustainable footwear manufacturing introduced to the industry in recent years is adidas’ FUTURECRAFT.LOOP, a circular system that allows for a completely recyclable pair of shoes. This process is made possible due to the fact that the shoes were made entirely with one material, allowing it to be completely reground into the same base material, only to become a pair of brand new shoes. Now, adidas is ready to unleash this concept to the public, and the only way to participate is to become an adidas Creators Club member here (it’s entirely free). To be selected, members must take part in a quiz testing their sustainability credentials. Once completed, members will be entered into a global raffle – and from there the 1,500 participants are selected. From there, participants will embark on a 21-week program, driven by the adidas app, with the community’s actions and feedback helping futureproof the engagement model. By signing up for the raffle they are making a commitment to return the shoes to be grinded, shredded and turned into something new. This massive project will culminate in 2021 with the commercial release of the “Made To Be Remade” campaign. In addition to this fully recyclable shoe, FUTURECRAFT also dabbles in biomechanics, data, and robotics. They recently introduced FUTURECRAFT STRUNG with a completely data-mapped wound upper and a new 4D sole.
Are we sure it's not attached under the upper? I don't mind a traditional tongue. I like sock-like too but a traditional tongue doesn't bother me at all.
Ok Nike, you win. I'm buying some Dunks https://sneakernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Nike-SB-Dunk-Low-atmos-Elephant-Photos-5.jpg
These aren’t exactly heat as far as this thread goes, in fact they can be had for under $80 but I’m in love. Big time boost comfort and the details are dope. The Roy g biv overlay stitching on the stripes is a great touch.
I'm going to own these but man that Elephant print looks like ass compared to the AM1. It's like big blobs on the Dunk instead of link cracked skin.
So help me God if they fuck these up... https://sneakernews.com/2020/10/13/nike-air-max-90-infrared-2020-ct1685-100-release-date/ But while it will likely appear near identical, there does seem be to slight distinction as the modern revival will make use of a “Radiant Red” instead of the original “Infrared.” Elsewhere, the usual neutrals — White, Black, Cool Grey — will dress adjacent, finishing off an homage that cares well for the details.
I'm not a Dunk guy at all but there's a few this year that I like a lot. I don't mind the silhouette at all. The Elephant and the Chicago are both fantastic imo. The Chnky Dunky was good too. Grateful Dead were fun too. The Cuse and UK ones were good but not something I'd pay resell for. I like when Nike uses a classic colorway from one silo on another silo. Like the only 2 SB's I own are some random silo that I can't even name (I googled it, it's GTS Return) but I bought them bc they were based on the og red and og blue AM1's.
Its weird to me how some Dunks can look fire while others look like some Walmart shit just based on the color blocking.
Missed on the Adidas 4D Triple Black. Hit on the Yeezy's last week that I got and don't really even like. I wanted the Triple Blacks and there's some universe where a fucking Adidas draw sells out? Ugh.
I'm surprised they didn't just use a fake. https://www.complex.com/sneakers/2020/10/air-jordan-4-oregon-ducks-netflix-sneakerheads To ensure the stunt generated meme-worthy, Jordan-size tears, series creator Jay Longino made sure to pick the perfect pair. "This has to be one of the hardest pairs to find out there, so we settled on the Oregon 4s," Longino says. A never-released pair that surfaced first in 2012, the Oregon Air Jordan 4s were designed for the University of Oregon's Ducks football team, a squad with deep ties to Nike. The inside tag features the signature of designer Tinker Hatfield, a former athlete at the university, who dedicated the shoe to his late friend Doug McClain. Today the Oregon 4s can range from $5,000 to $12,000 USD on the resale market, depending on the size. To complete the blasphemous act of tarnishing such a rare shoe, Longino began his quest as one does: with a plug at Flight Club. "I called Shawn and asked if he could find me a pair of Oregon 4s. He told me he had a guy in Miami who has a pair of 10.5 or 11 who wants seven grand for them," he says. "I was like, 'Can he do any better than that?' And he was like, 'Well, if you pay in cash, he'll do it for six grand.'" The production budget had already met its cap, and so the scramble began to try and find a way to make the deal happen. "I don't know what I had in cash, but long story short, the Super Bowl was the next day, and the Patriots were playing the Rams," Longino says. "I bet whatever I had on the Patriots winning, and they won. I got that cash, drove to Flight Club, and gave Shawn the $6,000. We FedEx-d it to some guy in Miami, and the next day a box showed up on set, two days before we were shooting."
This, like The Worm opening the boxes, makes me think “fucking assholes” not how cool. The box opening a little less.
Are the AJ0's actually a real shoe? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, I honestly have no idea
They go on this worldwide search for the AJ Zero's. They talk in the show how everyone thought they were just a myth and never existed but they end up finding a pair on some dude's feet in China
