Only reference I saw to it was people saw code in the demo that referenced Switch control schemes. But don't think anything is confirmed.
Having that thing only on sale till March when it could always at least be digital is beyond odd/stupid. I guess they're trying to create demand but the demand is already there? without having looked into it because only mario i've played is super mario bros. and odyssey, is this a bundle of the 3 games for $60 or is $60 for each?
They're going to sell the bundle for $60 or whatever and then sell them individually after that. That's my guess. They're not going to stop selling those games after six months when they did all work to optimize them for Switch.
Sunshine is great and galaxy is one of the best Mario games and all time great game . 60 for just those two is an amazing deal
I’d say it’s worth it, sunshine is a great offbeat title and Galaxy is probably top 3 Mario title can’t imagine it’s ever going to go down in price and only around until 3/31
Might mess around and download this today. Never played galaxy or sunshine. I'm guessing I should play galaxy first? bigpig Wu DUCKMOUTH
They're all different and play different. Galaxy 1-2 are the best 3D platforming games ever made, imo
Probably need to play galaxy with the split cons for the better experience. Game was designed for the wii. The split cons should offer a similar experience
Yeah using the gyro to get star bits, even with the joycon detached, is just not the same as using the wiimote. It's passable but thats it, and I now see why they didn't include Mario Galaxy 2 (Yoshi)
I somehow have owned every Nintendo console, except for the Wii, so I had never played Galaxy before Friday. This game is greatness.
ocarina, majora and wind Waker would be incredible supposedly there’s a skyward sword remaster in the works
Been waiting for it to drop for a while, they basically just released it as soon as it was ready. It’s been in early release on PC for a year or so. Awesome game, love games that are actually challenging but become more fun as you climb the learning curve.
Just ordered a pro controller, didn’t really notice the drift on most games but Hades is a very precise game that takes a lot of skill and losing to the final boss on a run because your guy just fucking runs the wrong direction is infuriating. Pretty bullshit that the joycon is such shit after only maybe 100 hours of use, probably not even that.
Too much tech crammed into too tiny a body. Nintendo's refusal to acknowledge the problem for so long is classic Big N, though.
circumstances suck but pro controller is awesome. Great feel and weight, and battery lasts for dozens of hours.
Pro Controller came in this afternoon, 100% worth it, would not even be worth my time to order and replace the joy stick. Been shredding Hades butthole now that I’m actually moving in the direction I’m intending.

Quit trying to fuck with the digital shop site. You guys need to create logins on dekudeals.com and just wishlist stuff at certain prices. It’ll send you emails when a title (physical or digital) hits your buy price. Easily searchable and it’s curated so you aren’t just seeing the shit Nintendo wants you to see.
I really like the Pro controller. I'm not a huge fan of playing with the joy con's connected. I should have gotten in on the kickstarter for the controller add-on that lets you connect the screen. Edit: I think it was this
So I’m a bit confused with Hades. I’ve beaten the first boss, Meg, and made it to the burning level. Do I have to always start with the beginning dungeon, or can I choose to start with the 2nd level? Or whatever you call them.
It’s a Roguelike, you start over every time. Even beating the “final boss” isn’t actually beating the game. There are 4 areas and bosses by the way. As you do more runs and unlock more, and also your skill level goes up, you will be able to make it further and eventually be able to complete the game pretty regularly. The fun is in each run being random and learning what makes you strong enough to beat each level and how to build your character well.
Ah, gotcha. I read that it's good to learn which Gods are best to pair with specific weapon types, as well as gifts/artifacts (or whatever you call them)
Yeah it’s definitely a steep learning curve. I would say it’s my favorite genre of game because it gives so much replayability, Binding of Isaac is another pretty difficult one that I’ve played for about 3k hours over the last 10 years.
