I had it for a few months then had a mini flare up about a month ago that lasted for a couple days so it would be nice for temporary relief. I have a some other contraption but it didn’t work very well. Though admittedly it was a little awkward to work with on the bottom of my foot.
I could really use that gun, I slept wrong or something and my neck/shoulder has been killing me for 3 days now. Feel sorry for me.
Everyone is different, but when I had plantar fasciitis, what helped me was better arch support shoes, losing weight, and using a tennis ball to roll my foot over. They also make spiked balls specifically for plantar fasciitis (better results than a tennis ball) that run like $7 a pop on Amazon. My dad used one when he had plantar fasciitis and it worked well for him.
Yeah I have something like that ball thing but it’s actually a rod with three different types of spikes and it didn’t seem to help at all. When it first started, I got some shoe inserts specifically for PF along with some compressions socks designed for PF. And when I got home I’d put on a walking boot that I got from my mom that she still had from when she broke her ankle. Also stretched it out when I woke up every morning and before I’d put the boot on.
Any noise cancelling over ear headphone recommendations? Mine are lightly broken. They still work, but when I go to extend them one side will pop out. No urgency to get them anytime soon, just want some models to keep an eye out for when they go on sale. Don’t want to spend Bose/Sony type money because I wouldn’t use them enough to justify the cost.
Home, travel. Probably somewhere in the $100 range. Old models or manufacturer refurbed models are an acceptable option. Of if there are some with really good noise isolation then I wouldn’t really need noise cancelling.
I had the Bose QC 35s and I really liked them but I left them in a hotel room. On prime day I bought these for 125, they have pretty good reviews. https://www.sony.com/electronics/headband-headphones/wh-xb900n My girlfriend has some Cowin we got her on amazon for 60ish, they are fine but the quality difference is drastic. I would recommend trying to find a refurb of a little higher end one. Spending another 20-30 bucks can get you a lot.
I have these and love them. Great bang for your buck. Plantronics Pro 2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Backbeat - Headphones Black & Tan
I got the Sony WH-H900n earlier this year for ~$80 (refurbished). They're comfortable and sound good, but nowhere near the sound canceling capabilities of old Bose QCs.
I missed the massage gun, link? And what was the prime price.... like how bad will I feel for missing the sale
receiving the massage gun was pretty much the only good thing to happen to me today. it does the job and does not disappoint. why can't we beat alabama
Massage gun arrived yesterday. Works just as well as my buddy's theragun (300$-400$ish). Quite the deal.
Mine arrived this morning as well. So far it does seem to do the job but it definitely looks/feels cheaply made. Well worth the $40, would feel ripped off at full price
Wow so contacted my headphone manufacturer since my headphones were lightly broken and still under warranty. They are replacing them with their best model at no charge and I get to keep what I have as well.
This TV was delivered today. And now Walmart announced today they will be selling a very similar 55" TCL on November 11th for $148. That's $100 less than what I paid. Apparently these deals are pretty hard to get and sell out immediately due to bots. https://www.walmart.com/ip/TCL-55-Class-4K-UHD-HDR-LED-Roku-Smart-TV-4-Series-55S20/473987409?irgwc=1&sourceid=imp_XQRQJV09exyLR:jwUx0Mo36AUkExSDzN2wKrws0&veh=aff&wmlspartner=imp_10451&clickid=XQRQJV09exyLR:jwUx0Mo36AUkExSDzN2wKrws0&sharedid=
Not sure if for resale. Possibly normal people using some type of bot just to ensure they get the product first? I'm simply going off all the comments I saw on slickdeals.
People who use bots use them to resell products. They are very expensive to acquire/run. I know very little about them but I do know that they basically instantly check out with pre-filled in shipping/payment information etc. Essentially any product that will resell for a decent amount higher than the retail cost people will run bots and monitors for. The monitors constantly check stock, and the bots follow up by automatically checking out. It's quite a business now days with so much being online.
