The election was illegitimate and fraudulent. The right’s response to the fraud was also illegitimate, and they’ve done nothing since then to merit retaining power. The CIA has been responsible for lots of bad things happening in Latin America - but I haven’t seen any actual evidence of American involvement in the Bolivian police and armed forces backing the right.

The evidence regarding chain of custody, null votes, 100% turnout in precincts, and multiple signatures has not, afaik, been rebutted - I think at most, the argument is that the documented fraud wouldn’t have been enough to push Morales under 10%. he doesn’t have to. Fauci spoke on 60 minutes last night. I know he wants to stay out of it. Quitting end speaking out likely puts his family at risk for a long time. Not everyone is ready to take that level of risk. Especially when most think it won’t be necessary. I would like to see him speak out stronger though. I’m just not sure he does.
