yes, they mute bc otherwise you could say who killed you they use discord for the audio, separate from the game, so they have to manually mute/unmute in discord
The game is Among Us. There's two teams: crewmates and (2) imposters. Right now Poki and Ilhan are imposters. Their job is to kill the crewmates off till they win. Crewmates have to finish tasks or vote off both imposters to win. Impostors can sabotage parts of the ship, including locking doors and turning off lights (the lights have to be fixed by crewmates to have a large field of view instead of a small one when the lights are off). Impostors can vent around the map and fake tasks to look like crewmates. Ignore the chat, it's aids. Especially with a big time stream like this. Things are slow because Ilhan and AOC are still learning the ropes.

his typical roasting level went through some of the poster's messages and said he shoulda been banned awhile ago and told him to gtfo, banned him, said he's a butt hurt bitch, etc etc
AOC just gets it. You don't even need to turn the stream into a political ad. Just have fun, play games with friends, and show people that you can be relatable. It basically turned into a giant infomercial for her brand for a steady stream of 300k+ people for hours. Not including the free press that will come from it. At the cost of really nothing.
Also I'm glad that no one tried to get *too* extra sweaty try hard during the game. (outside of Toast)

It really was. The pair seemed to understand what they were doing, didn't come off like it was just a publicity stunt. Ilhan was a silent assassin.
