Get at least one chicken taco if you haven't ordered yet. Their queso is pretty solid, too, as well as the mac n cheese as noted above. Also, if there's a long line out the door, you can skip it by calling in a to-go order from the patio ;)
The mac n cheese was creamy goodness. Ribs, pulled pork, and frito pie were had. The Cellar for several night caps.
I still have never been to The Cellar despite working in Greenway and living kinda close, too. Will check it out when I start drinking again ;)
I used to live right behind it. Love it. Chill place. Good drinks. Games. Right next to a strip club and El Tiempo.
I actually went to Lamar, so perhaps not surprisingly that was the first strip club i ever went to, although it was still known as The Pink Pussycat back then ;)
Do you know if they still have several food trucks open since Covid? When I visited little Woodrow’s they were down to 1 which was kinda disappointing
No clue honestly. On a separate note Julep has a cocktail truck and came to our apartments this past weekend. It was legit. Got a 20oz old fashion and a liter of old pepper for the games Saturday.

It may be too late to order from some of the BBQ spots, but worth looking into. And central market has been pretty good in the past, while some of the other grocery stores likely have options to choose (Kroger’s or Randall’s, if not both)

I joined “operation turkey” this year. The first hour we helped package stuffing. The next 4 hours we delivered meals to less fortunate families around Houston. I highly recommend it if anyone is interested in volunteering next year. Also for Christmas I’m looking for a similar organization if anyone has interest in joining me went to Perry’s steakhouse after for takeout and it was great
Loaves & Fishes is the place we volunteer at for Christmas. Food looks good. Glad you didn’t ruin the day.
I really do need to do more charity. If there is a god and I have to try and bullshit my way into heaven I’d have that in my back pocket.
