Yeah....really don't think that Halo Infinite guy leaving is a good sign at all. Can't imagine a AAA game having a lead director leave within six months of the planned release. Sounds terrible but I am hoping it is some sort of scandal because then at least it's not related to the game.
So looks like I will end up being wrong about consoles being widely available at launch. https://wccftech.com/xbox-series-x-s-short-supply-for-months-pre-order-rethink-phil-spencer/ Pandemic really must have fucked with manufacturing because I can't imagine demand being higher than the current gen was at launch and you could get Xbox Ones and PS4's easily.
I don't get why demand is so high. I have an xbox one x and if I can play everything then why do I care about a mad dash to upgrade to 60fps. I'm cool to wait it out a few months. If I was lucky enough to preorder I would probably ebay that shit to someone and wait anyway.
"I don't get why demand is so high. I have Jordans from 2018 and I can do everything in them including run, jump, and pass so I don't understand the mad dash to do that in blue, graphic Jordans." It's a shiny new object. Ideally, there would be a new beautiful, AAA game to go along with it but it just doesn't matter. I never buy shit on release day except for video games. It's my expensive vice. Just because you can wait absolutely does not mean everyone can or wants to.
Trust me, once you experience 60FPS you won't want to go back to 30. Some games feel broken on console now, after playing them on PC.
I don't mean the price or whatever, I just mean it's no big deal for me to wait. Even if my friends all got next gen it sounds like we can still play if I didn't right away. That hasn't ever been the case before so I'm kind of cool with the X for a little longer.
I have a PC that I play on with gamepass games I get the difference. The X can run some at 60 I know it's a massive improvement so I'm for sure upgrading but it's kind of a well if I get one I get one thing for me. I do understand others have more excitement for the upgrade asap because console launches are exciting and fun so I'm not knocking anyone elses opinion or whatever I just personally am not worried about upgrading on launch day.
I cannot do a poll in here, but which of you require a disc drive in your console? I assume some of you as well do not need a disc drive? For now, I couldn't justify buying one w/o the ability to play blu rays and 4k blu rays, but assume I'm in the minority.
Without VR support it'd be a half-baked experience. I don't know why MS doesn't work with Oculus. Seems like a no-brainer partnership.
pearl work those old GameStop sources and see if any around here are getting any series x non preorder stock on launch day.
I wanted the full power of the X and disc drive helps so I don’t have to use a current gen console if I want to watch a 4k movie on disc
I am waiting on Target to charge me. I don’t think they are doing release date delivery, but I should have it for the weekend which is exciting. Ready to jump into AC.
Max power is the only acceptable answer. I want the console equivalent of the time Tim Taylor put a motorcycle engine on his lawnmower so he could beat that cunt Bob Villa in a race.
So strange, BestBuy charge definitely hit on PayPal, but the link in the email to the Order Status doesn't show it...
glad I thought about it. The card on file was closed due to fraud. Amazon hasn’t billed yet. Glad I changed it or I may have lost my preorder
Why? Because Facebook owns Oculus and are a bunch of cunts thinking they're the platform leader instead of Microsoft.
100% a troll shirt, and to piss off everyone, and to make people not be able to help themselves from pointing out it's inaccuracy. It's brilliant.
WalMart still shows mine as "preparing order" but it just showed up on my porch. Looks like it shipped from Waco and I'm in Austin, so that's why it got here early.
