Ya but it's another great built in excuse for a loss that should be a win. OL cohesion went to p**p when we lost it's centerpiece
Sucks because Jurgens really did improve by the end of last season and looked good at times against OSU. Have a feeling he may never get to see a full season, hope I’m wrong but the injuries are adding up.
Still with the bad snaps too. Feel like he’s not comfortable and wants to rush through it to get his hands on someone first. You would think this would be ironed out by now, or we’d change how he holds/snaps the ball.
NW stadium experience is fucking dogshit. Spending the weekend in Chicago around the game was awesome though. I know a lot of other TMB’ers have been there as well.
I think it’s a lingering ailment. Not sure it’s public but a few of my friends have seen it on sites they go as well.
09 Missouri. I hate all Missouri fans, have been to Columbia almost every other year since 97 (I wanted to leave the game, was crying before OT, I was 6, okay?) the rain in 09 and that comeback was so damn sweet. Almost as sweet as the tears I’m tasting from these trump supporters
Washington seemed rocking from a Nebraska standpoint. I’ve never been so excited about a season after watching Washington and then K State on a Thursday night I believe?
I remember watching KSU with guys from dental school and multiple times the words “that kid is going to win multiple heismans” was said by those non-Husks.
Then I watched our #5 ranked Husks get beat by a shitty fucking Texas team at home from a crappy bar in San Francisco the next week.
I love Ames, but that’s more for the tailgating scene. Also, witnessed some pretty good games in Jack Trice, and some not so good. this is quite possibly the dumbest thing ever, but I had a small scholarship to a juco and for me to come back my 2nd year... i told my pitching coach that I didn’t want to miss a second of a Nebraska game during the falls. I would close game 1 in the morning and then just bail to my dorm to watch the Husks. Looking back on this it’s so fucked, but I got what I wanted
I’ve been to: Lawrence several tims Boulder Stillwater Cotton Bowl Big 12 Championship in Arlington Big 12 Championship in KC Holiday Bowl (not THAT Holiday Bowl tho) Seattle Columbia Evanston Madison (non husk pre B1G vs MN) LOOK AT ME!!!!
Ames Iowa City Columbia Lawrence Manhattan Stillwater College Station Pittsburgh Holiday Bowl (shit show) Gator Bowl Cotton Bowl Big 12 Championship in Arrowhead (coldest game I have ever been to in my life) Also been to starkvegas and ole miss.
College Station Columbia Blacksburg Seattle Ames x2 Madison BIG Championship vs Wisky Minneapolis x2 Miami Ann Arbor x2 East Lansing Evanston Iowa City x8ish Edit: forgot Eugene too
Fuck, I forgot about the Miami game. I left at half anyways. Regretted that. Also 8 times to Iowa City? How much a month do you spend on herpes medication?
Only 2 of those were Husk games. I have a relative that played for them. Always interesting sitting in the players family section cheering for 1 player and hoping their team loses.
That Big12 Champ game in KC was miserable. I remember spending halftime just standing in the bathroom to keep warm.
Idk what this means for the game today but I just took literally the nastiest smelling poo of my life. Perhaps it was the curse leaving?
You know how far off we are when we trot out WRs that can’t even compare to Iowa or Northwestern. Give me 12 personnel with Manning and Fleming and just go with it.
Jurgens hurt his foot and toughed it out the rest of the game against OSU, im sure they want to be very cautious with him given his history. Aside from Stoll we are otherwise in good shape imo.
Am I the only person who thinks we should’ve told Bubak to get fucked? You go to ASU over Nebraska, you suck there, so you come back and walk on. No thanks, im sure Kearney would take you and give you money.
