We will miss Turnier but it is what it is, good move by Heup/Danny, gotta set the expectation for the rest of the players.
wouldn't surprise me but I haven't seen it mentioned. I could see the players being upset that the guys got kicked off the team for being mad at cops, given the current environment. Kenny and Randy both apologized but I had the feeling the statements were prepared for them and weren't much more than to placate the university.
hmmm... 1. Daunte 2. Blake 3. KZ 4. DG 5. ........ I would say Top 7 or 8 for sure. Schneider and Godfrey are in there somewhere, bigger body of work to evaluate over than DJ had but DJ played in such crazy circumstances and big games, has to count for a lot
Here's a fun one, rank your Top 5 plays in UCF history. I'm sure there are better ones I'm missing for 4 and 5 but those two always stick out to me from that era 1. Mike Hughes KO return 2. Bortles to Godfrey to beat Louisville 3. JJ Worton TD to beat Temple 4. Kevin Smith TD run against Tulsa 5. Joe Burnett punt return against Tulsa
yeah I was thinking of that one too, couldn't remember who made the play. certainly a massive play in our history.
I'd take the 34K Tulsa run out. That more put it away right but it wasn't a lead change or anything like that. iirc I need a KZ play in there. Maybe the cross body pass to Snelson(?) that came before the pick 6. That TD was insane and came late in that game.
There really have been some good ones that wont sniff a top 5 list but should be mentioned. Hail Perryman won us a conference championship. How about Bruce Miller forcing a fumble vs Marshall when they could have been in victory formation. I will never forget Stanback destroying that kid from Rutgers Just in 2013 I can vividly recall all of these: I think Blake had no less than 3 TD passes where he fumbles the ball, picked it up and threw it to JJ. The 4th down (really all 4 plays) stand vs Houston to stay undefeated was epic Storm Johnson's 65 yard TD vs Penn St. in 2013 set the tone for the entire season Hall's 50 yard screen pass before halftime with Reese blocking all the way down the field TD vs Baylor
Knocking the ball out of bounds at the goal line vs houston OT INT to preserve perfect season the 4th down from our own 20-something that went for TD vs. Memphis IF IT COUNTED: The Griffin blocked FG against Memphis that was later called back on delay of game which led to another missed FG. Keep in mind if that play stood we likely win in regulation too.
the 4th down from our own 20-something that went for TD vs. Memphis "Let's go BONE" This call will forever endear CJH in my heart.
CFB slate is awful due to COVID. This is so dumb that we are still trying to do this season. Just put Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, and ND in a bubble and call it a season.
This would make me sad after we blew two games and would have definitely been in that top 16 otherwise.
Why are we risking virus spread for football games like this again? they should seriously have a rule in place to call games to minimize this stuff anyway. 30 points and everyone goes home.
That’s literally my seats so that guy can go get fucked for being an asshole in my seats. Only I get to be an asshole in my seats
Does he spike the mask at the end? I just don’t get people who lose their shit over something so easy.
Yeah, it’s weird that not having a small piece of fabric on your face is the hill you choose to die on. Especially when you are choosing to go to a place that pretty explicitly tells you to wear one or youre going to get kicked out
