For sure. It’s amazing that two best chain chicken places are polar opposites when it comes to service. CFA, rolls out the red carpet, but Popeyes is like fuck it.
I've said it before in this thread but about a year ago a new Popeyes was built down the road from my house and it is the best Popeyes in the world. The service is immaculate. I've counted my blessings. Got a well run Taco Bell near it too
All my people in the southeast should check out Jacks new spicy chicken sandwich. I wouldn't put it there with Popeyes but it is pretty close. Fantastic sandwich

Just had one for the first time since Feb. Still slaps. My mouth is still feeling the heat 10 minutes later.
It really isn't, that's why I was a little surprised. More kick than I remembered. Wasn't it pain or shedding tears, just a solid lasting spice.
Had one last week. Going classic with no mayo and then getting spicy mayo on the side is the way to go. Nice fresh sandwich and I can go heavy on the spicy mayo bc they give me a fucking tub of it.
Semi-related, I had the new honey pimento sandwich at Chic Fil A, and it was quite good. Pimento cheese was too runny but otherwise a fine sandwich.
Their current buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich blows donkeys. I’m sure they’ll get “imaginative” and simply replace the lettuce and tomato with pickles.
They’ve had something called “southern style chicken sandwich” for years. It’s better than McChicken, I’ll give them that
