He was hurt and had surgery. Gave it a go saturday and clearly isnt 100%. I dont think he's been healthy all season even when he has played. Not being healthy and with what our offense looks like it makes sense for him to just call it and not risk getting hurt worse. I assume he's gonna pro but I guess he could transfer.
Ftr I am very much pro terry. I think an athletic TE is worth more in the current offense than a very good WR. Although that could change with a more traditional QB.
dude in the middle was our leading receiver last week and on the right scored 1 of our 2 TDs so uhhh yea. fuck.
45 is a true freshman walk on that played lacrosse in high school and managed to show up in the fall and beat out several of our scholarship players.
only about 75% accurate The assumed starter's knee exploded like his 2nd day here......now, he was a transfer from ucla so it is very possible that he wouldve also been beaten out by the aforementioned walk on lacrosse bro
Well, him playing football in addition to lacrosse seems relevant. The only healthy scholarship TEs that I'm aware of behind macdonald are rector (former walk on qb), douglass (converted bball player), and boatwright (probably terrible). Preston is a coach's son, so that's like the white guy lottery. No need to fluff it up; the roster is bad enough on own
I know wasnt tryna downplay the fact that we got walk ons immediately better than guys who've been on scholly
The Orange Bowl trophy was at Thrasher's left, marking Florida State's victory against Michigan nine months earlier. Now, as a new season approached, the Seminoles were ranked third in the country and a date against No. 1 Alabama loomed. "I think we're going to beat Alabama," Thrasher said. "Pretty bad." The crowd roared with approval. The Seminoles were a college football powerhouse, fresh off their fifth straight New Year's Six bowl game and four years removed from a national title, with nearly four decades of unrivaled consistency in the sport. The Florida State football program feared no one. That FSU/Bama game feels like a lifetime ago dblplay1212
"He'd been in the SEC, and maybe he'd seen that when Nick [Saban] wants something, he gets it really quick," the booster said of Fisher, who'd been an assistant under Saban at LSU. "Florida State, there was a delay where we had to go raise the money for a project that doesn't generate revenue." Sad!
Norvell doing exactly what the program needs. Completely flipping roster/culture. Going to suck for a while unfortunately. "What we inherited may have been one of the roughest, hardest to deal with groups of kids I've ever been around," one Willie Taggart-era assistant said.
We have/had a culture problem. 4 and 5 stars coming in (see the last 4 seasons) hasn't done shit for us. We have to completely go youth movement and raise the floor of the program with guys who want to work. We are not close to Clemson so I think it is best to do it the right way and unfortunately that is going to take patience
I don’t think the FSU boosters are striving to topple Louisville their expectations, and fan expectations, are to win the ACC and to do that they will have to unseat Clemson
