Never played Demon’s Souls but watched some reviews last night and that’ll be my first ps5 buy

 

I honestly haven't even thought about which game I'm going to play first...

I mean I assume I'll fuck around with Astro's just to get a feel for the control and the mechanics. Outside of that though, I have a pretty solid backlog of games (Last of Us 2, Persona 5, and a couple others). I should probably go with a new game though for the 1st one I play on the new console. Valhalla, Miles Morales, or Demon's Souls are probably the ones to go with, so I'll just choose one of those.

 

Spider-Man will be my first purchase.

 

I’d definitely play Astro’s Playroom first. Really gives you a feel for what the DualSense is capable of within a super fun Mario clone.

I was hoping I could platinum Doom Eternal before my ps5 arrived but it’s looking dicey with the game requiring trophies for the multiplayer mode...

Walmart.com is showing 5 available at a store about 20 minutes away. I am 100% convinced if I engage I will be met with the same disappointment of trying to buy online - striking out with both target & Walmart, having them in my cart, then the site randomly crash. FML

 

Their website sucks with tracking individual store inventory. I’d try calling them first.

I dumped A TON of time into FFX and loved the story. Going back to Spira was welcome, even if the follow up game was light on continuing the story and kind of silly.
