Kroger also does free flu shots. That's where I got mine. You can go online to fill out all the paperwork and set up an appointment.
Making an appointment online with Publix is really easy. I’d rather someone tell me they’re not getting one because it makes their arm hurt than someone tell me one more time they didn’t get the flu last year when they didn’t get the shot.
CVS made it easy as shit today. Booked an appointment for a flu shot online for 45 mins from when I booked it. In and out in 20 mins. Arm is sore as shit now.
I read online if you rub the area of injection and rotate you arm in a circle that it helps a lot with it. I did it this year and it worked. Arm still got sore but not as much and didn’t last nearly as long.
I've had flu shots that didn't hurt at all and some that hurt for days. I've been told it can have something to do with how the shot is administered
Got mine last Friday at Fry’s. Took 15 minutes. First time I’ve gotten one in maybe 10-15 years but I definitely felt obligated to do it given everything going on. I’m only a selfish prick 70% of the time.
My didn’t hurt at all but I am the alpha and omega. I am in peak physical shape. Women want to be with me, men what to be me. But, I understand why you beta plebs are in pain.
Made my appt at Publix for Noon and ordered a sub for pickup at 12:15 Got there a few minutes before noon, had the shot at 12:04. Perused beer aisle for a few minutes before choosing. sandwich was ready by time I got to deli. just got home with a free sandwich and essentially a $5 six pack The total before she put in my insurance was $48. Not sure what they charge the insurance company, but I didn't spend $48 today in the store usually get the shot in my office, but it’s been closed since March. Will probably stick with Publix if they keep the $10 gift card next year
About to go get one over lunch I think. Usually never have issues after it, but between the shot and the temp decreasing 50+ degrees in the last 10 days I’m expecting to “get sick”. Wish me luck.
Done, CVS and free with insurance. In and out in under 10min after booking online. Get this shit done folks the next few months could be crazy.
They've done for the past few years. 48 is the cash price for the flu shot and 96 for the senior dose.
Just a heads up we are having trouble getting the regular flu shot in, but not the senior dose, so if you are still on the fence you might want to go get it.
“DTaP is a vaccine that helps children younger than age 7 develop immunity to three deadly diseases caused by bacteria: diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis). Tdap is a booster immunization given at age 11 that offers continued protection from those diseases for adolescents and adults.” You got some ‘splainin to do, a.tramp.
My wife got covid the day after she got a flu shot and now my 10 year old daughter is making up some conspiracy theory about flu shots causing covid. Too bad sweetheart it happens on Monday
You are supposed to get it every 10 years as an adult. HTH as I just got this and confirmed from the pharmacist that gave me the flu shot and a nurse that I know.
You got the Tdap shot FWIW we push it pretty hard with the flu and Covid being respiratory diseases Boo MFer! Was just being his typical self since racer said he got the Dtap shot instead of Tdap shot.
We just got ours. Now my kids keep talking about judge Wapner fr tho private insurance is such bullshit I have to pay for flu shots
Every place I’ve ever been says free with most insurance. Private blue cross blue shield apparently isn’t most insurance except for flu drives which we missed this year
That’s odd. I have shitty BCBS from the Marketplace and mine was free. I think that pharmacy tech just pocketed yours for beer money
I’m grandfathered in a plan pre Obamacare I was told to never change or my premiums would go up significantly. This could be bullshit tho I never really researched it
