Thanks, bought last week for $65. BB has price match excluded, so buying another and swapping for $25-30 back.
I was lucky enough to snag one from bestbuy yesterday morning for pickup next week. Now I just need to unload my S.
I'm getting screen flickering when I run an X/S optimized game on my Series S. Not when I play backwards compatible games. Any suggestions?
All games? What TV? Have all the TV options on? Have seen things on the Xbox Reddit’s about VRR or 120hz causing issues. If it’s Dirt 5 it’s the game and they are working on a patch.
Has anyone tried to playing cod with a mouse and keyboard on the new Xbox? Trying to see if it’s a shitty experience or not
I’ll have to try a few more. Definitely on Forza Horizon 4. TV is the 55” TCL 4 Series 4K UHD TV with HDR. edit: I may have solved it. I changed the color depth from 8 bit to 10 bit. edit2: I most certainly did not solve it. Going to try the high speed HDMI cable that came packed in with the console. edit3: The issue persists. I don’t think it’s the cable. I suspect it’s an HDR setting on the Xbox. I’m going to try to play a few 4K HDR titles tonight to test it.
Over a regular Xbox One, absolutely. Over an Xbox One X... mostly marginally but you'd still notice the improvements to load times and whatnot because of the SSD.
Just played my first 5 games in about 3 years...it did not go well. But in the 3rd game it put me with other really bad people and I was competent
They have the sbmm dialed all the way up. I like the game but tough to play for awhile given how cracked you have to be
Its pretty fun. Haven't gotten the wunderweapon yet but have been doing some of the easter egg stuff. Also now you can exit the game by calling in an ex-fil but then you have to clear the area of zombies etc.
Zombies has been a treat. Best part of the game in my opinion. The SBMM thing is insane. I go from a game where I go 20-11....and then the next game where I go 4-27 and I can't even shoot before getting headshotted.
I haven’t had an Xbox since the days of 360, so I have a couple of questions. Do I need to buy Game Pass and an Xbox live membership or does the Game Pass cover both? 2. Can you play old games online? Like the OG Halo or COD MW?
My new TV got here today, looks gorgeous but setting it up took my whole lunch break so ill need to wait until after work to test the Xbox on it
Also haven't looked too much into the cooling on this, is it recommended to put it on top of entertainment stand instead of inside of it?
New TV installed, downloading HDMI 2.1 firmware update. About to launch this to maximum effect (been playing on an ultra short throw projector and a 5 year old Vizio TV until now)
I take it you got the Sony 900H as well? (judging by the HDMI 2.1 udpate) When I had it check for a software update, it said there wasn't one. You downloading manually or did yours prompt for one?
HyperX is by far the best one I’ve used and I’ve tried at least 4 different brands. That said, SteelSeries is the one I haven’t used. Edit: Assuming they make a wireless one. Fwiw this is the set I use. (Not wireless) HyperX Cloud II - Gaming Headset, 7.1 Surround Sound, Memory Foam Ear Pads, Durable Aluminum Frame, Detachable Microphone, Works with PC, PS4, Xbox One
yup this is the one I use and I recommend it constantly I’m sure any wireless rig they offer is just as good
Best headset I've ever had and it's not close. I've had multiple ones between $60-$120 and this Arctis 9x is a revolutionary, never-going-back, type of upgrade. Wireless, 20+ hour battery life, charges in 1 hour, bluetooth (music, your phone, Discord) connection, and a sound mixer.
