Speaking of, anyone got any recs for a modem/router?

Xfinity is charging 15 a month, seems like I could get my own and be a better deal within like a year

 

Just find what’s compatible in terms of modem. I’ve had an Arris for my last two I think.

Update, this bad boy slaps. It is like a surgeon’s knife for concrete with no additional damage to the plumbing that I was trying to free up. You can see the rectangular knockout in the 4” thick concrete pad I made in about 30 minutes. 11/10, would highly recommend!

 

Any table saw recommendations? I’m likely to go with dewalt as that’s what all my tools are, but I’m open to better deals.

In the same boat. Not sure if you are trying to go big boy or just a job site, but I'm debating between Dewalt and Metabo (Hitachi). This was an interesting breakdown if you are looking at a job site saw.

I've been avoiding buying anything from Homefield Apparel until they carry PSU. And I'm not a big fan of wearing other schools' stuff but I saw this and decided I must have it.

 

I don't buy other schools' gear, but will wear if given to me. I have a Citadel sweatshirt that's one of my favs

 

My wife makes me buy her T-shirts from every city i visit for work or otherwise with a university. It started with a #Mississippi Rebels tshirt I bought her on a trip to Oxford.

She seems to prefer wearing the Ivy League and Stanford T-shirts when grocery shopping and the SEC ones when hungover

 

Just bought a new gaming pc. Great deal but I got it home and windows needed to be activated. The dude that sold it to me won’t send me the windows product key so my windows can’t be activated and there’s basically nothing I can do about it unless I spend 100 to buy a new product key.

Fucking pissed. I just need a fucking product key.

Nah, Facebook Marketplace. Went and meet the dude 2 hours from my spot. No clue. He said he forgot to activate it and would send the key. That was two days ago. Now he’s not responding and I think I’m shit out of luck. The PC performs as expected but without a product key I can’t really personalize the computer and it has a watermark on the bottom right that comes up.

 

I think you can find a key for less than $100, but yea what a pain in the ass.

 

Yea a total shit show so far. Sucks too cause the dude seemed legit and the PC does work really well. I’ll probably be on the phone with Microsoft later trying to find out exactly what my options are aside from paying for a full $100 version of windows when I just need the code.

Not sure, I think I bought my key from eBay last time I did. Has been awhile though, but it seemed shady but worked. I guess just read the buyer feedback first.

That is a fantastic deal. I have the m12 primarily for work (that rotary drill is the exception due to necessity) because of most work site space constraints. But that deal might be to tempting tp pass up. Looks like I am starting a m18 ecosystem now.

Why does it need to be activated? I built a PC for my old man two years ago and still haven't activated windows to date.

 

it doesn’t HAVE to be but I’d like to be able to change the background and remove the damn watermark that sits over my games when I’m playing now. I’ve found a fix that removes it but only for a few hours and then the watermark comes back.

 

Gotcha. I never knew of an issue with the watermark being OVER applications.

 

He probably built/used the PC with a unlicensed version of windows and is just passing the problem on to you. Sucks.

 

well it’s the pro version so it would be 200. And I just honestly don’t want to fork that money up tbh. I guess it’s not a huge issue that the watermark is there but it is annoying in some games.
