Well that is a knock to the walnuts. OL was a big strength last week, but missing 4 centers is not something I expected we would need to see this season.
Probably should wait and see how the snaps go, but that is probably the best blocking line combo (surprised no Ray I guess). If Kutsch can snap, at least I know he can block. Though I am sure moving G to C means some new concepts. Going to be quite the show.
Absolutely. Much better than what I expected with the OL moving around. D was better. Noyer was good. Maybe that's all we see this year. I'll take 2-0
Yes, the OL has been fucking nails. And that is with injuries. Noyer just needs time and he fucking rips it. Aside from the drops (and some conservative calls) the offense is ripping.
Very impressed by the OL working as a new group. assuming we get a bye next week and then maybe, just maybe, break the 0 for? Seriously doubt it, but this SoCal native can dream.
Im just happy right now. This season was nothing to lose and team has way out performed expectations. It's all gravy from this point out
Stanley - stud Shenault - he's gunna be pretty damn good Rice - TD was nice but that almost catch in double coverage was impressive Ray/Filip buried #34 so beautifully Mang Mang's TD Landman was a beast today Gonzo's PI was bullshit Ashaad needs more than 1 carry RB rotation was funky today it felt like
+1 on the above. I would be comfy giving Ashaad 2nd RB carries instead if Mangham. I do think Broussard is a machine and we need to keep feeding.
Defense should be strong on 2-4 (thin 4s) and he will board/block/steal. Offense is probably best on the break, hustle point, lobs, and corner threes. Don't run the offense through him, he should be a decent glue guy.
Miller playing is good news. Need some depth, and the poor guy could use some good injury luck. Hoping the offense does not lean on KD too heavily in his return. The balance has been great, and they are spreading it around. I do think KD brings some value and can potentially add some variety to a WR room of tall dudes. But I would hope he is more of a complimentary piece than a focal point.
Did what they needed to do. Jabari Walker playing mins is a great sign, because I don't trust Strating to be the 4th big (Battey, Walton, Horne). Surprised we did not see more of Clifford and so much of da Silva, but the depth is already decent at the 3 with Daniels and Schwartz (no covers pls) so I am not worried. On to face the Cat on Friday, roll Tad.
