this is what Favreau and Filoni get better than anyone else has recently. don’t draw inspiration directly from the original trilogy. draw it from the same things that inspired Lucas from the beginning.
Clone Wars is next on my marathon. I'm not watching this Lego Star Wars shit that's listed after E2 Attack of the Clones
Kun would be a waste with someone like Grogu. Now Ezra? That'd be great. I'm thinking of the Jedi Academy trilogy version of Kun
To those saying Luke picked Grogu up out of the temple, that is impossible. Luke was literally not even born when the Jedi temple fell when they’re talking about him being taken from the temple on Coruscant.
Ahh, my mistake, sorry, didn’t realize we were commenting on mere mortals. Silvestri still remains the god.
We are talking about Luke being the Jedi who answers the call from Grogu when they get to the Jedi Temple on this show. Not how he escaped Order 66.
When she sneaks up behind the two soldiers and draws her light sabers horizontally, the music leading up to that was perfect.
movie or series? I havent watched any of the animated. Not sure I have the time to watch all ~50 hours of the series right now?
How soon til Disney edits in a small Grogu-shaped shadow fleeing the temple in Ep III with the faintest audible “maclunkey” attached? o/u 3 weeks
Kun came to mind from some storyline where he found out lightsabers couldn't cut through beskar. Ezra may still show up but would think the old temple stuff sets up an appearance from someone from the old republic era better
Ashoka is clearly seeking Ezra, I imagine we’ll get casting info soon Thrawn as well, I wish James Spader fit the build better not sure who I would have play him, Mikkelson would have been up there but here been used I expect to see Mando using the spear against the dark saber soon
I now think Cal Kestis (from the Fallen Order video game which is canon) is the most likely to answer the call from Grogu, if anyone does. They seem to be willing to connect the various stories from different platforms on this show, and they already have a good actor cast as the character. While Luke is possible, I think most of us agree they’re not going to recast a young Luke. Even with Sebastian Stan. Especially after the backlash from recasting Harrison Ford in Solo. And I think they save Ezra for the Ahsoka stand alone series, which almost seems inevitable at this point (a great thing, based upon what we saw from the last episode and how well Dawson is playing the character).
Stan as Hamill makes way more sense for recasting though, I expect to see him in that role at some point
Nandor the Relentless make sure you google the correct chronological order for Clone Wars when you watch
Alright I watched the first three episodes then watched the first episode listed in that chronological order and I can't get into this Clone Wars show.
Limited/Single-Season show gets 3 episode trial Multi-season show gets 1 season trial This is the way
I'll probably just power through and watch all of it even if i don't like it because I hate myself and that's what I do.
