Back in the day when we first got our kids a PS2 and I taught my then-6yo how to play it, within a week he was yelling at me "Come ON, Dad, hurry up!" as we played Rise Of The Underminer together Now he's in college and gave me a hug for the first time in maybe over a year when I told him I'd secured a PS5 for him. Youngest plays the XBox deep into the night because hey, even with zoom schooling he doesn't have to be up until 9:30am, so I never get to fucking play anything anymore
my wife forced my son to share the TV attached to the PS5 today so she and my daughter could watch a movie on Disney+. The second the movie credits rolled my wife told me he grabbed the phone and FaceTimed me so I could show him how to switch the HDMI port so he could play.
Yeah I’ve got the platinum on it. Gameplay is really fun. Characters are funny. And the game handles some heavy social topics in subtle and light-hearted ways. The ending is a little dark so you may want to vet that for a 6 year old.

Anyone else not receive their email order confirmation from Gamestop on a bundle they ordered last week? I can see an order number on my Gamestop account but it just says "In Progress." The order was placed Friday. Gamestop customer service told me it could take up to 24 business hours to receive the confirmation and that I should have received it yesterday, but still nothing.
Same here. Order status says in progress, and each of the four items listed says order received. No specific order confirmation email.
Yeah. I will. I had to wait over an hour just to get somebody to enter the customer service chat to respond to me yesterday. The stupid thing makes a ping noise every minute telling me "somebody will be with me shortly" so I got that to look forward to again.
24 business hours is a new dumbass way to communicate that I had not heard before. Always pushing the boundaries.
I flat out asked them if my order was in jeopardy of being cancelled and they said no. I don't believe the folks at Gamestop are people that I can rely on though.
Figured out my order dilemma. My kid ordered it unknowingly. He had the TV on the wrong input and thought the PS5 was broken so just started pressing buttons and bought the game. Added a password entry for every purchase now.

Nope - I dont think we can expect any till mid Q1 of next year. Has anyone played Immortals Fenyx Rising? I am weary since its an ubisoft game, but the visuals look amazing.
I've played about 20 hrs and feel like I'm nowhere close to done. There is so much to do and it hasn't felt stale yet. The gameplay, combat and puzzles are really enjoyable. One of my surprise games of the year.
I have tomorrow off. Think I might trade my PS4 Pro into Gamestop tomorrow. If I pick up Ghosts on PS4 physical, will it still be PS5 enhanced or whatever?
