Anyone watching this? Couldn't find a thread. It's from the world of DC, with Batman's Robin as the main character (if you've got young kids, you'll recognise the characters from the Teen Titans animated show). Only 2 episodes in, but very good so far. Good action and quite dark. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out
He’s in The Batman also. Kid with white face paint on watching Batman kick the crap out of his friend.
I don't believe they have announced a date yet. It's finishing up filming now and slated for a late release this year.
They are making it sound like a brand new show premiering on TNT, as if it hasnt existed already on other platforms.
Just finished season 2. Definitely went off the rails a bit. Donna Troy's death couldn't have been more lame.
They changed both seasons endings at the last minute. Great seasons to only fall flat. My only complaint.
S1 > S2 Some of the side quests in S2 were lame, and there were some dialoge moments that made me legit LOL. With Raven in particular.
Agreed on the side quests but it seemed like they were trying to tell origin stories a little better by doing them, which wasn't a bad idea just maybe do them differently
Yeah, I got what they were doing. I'm generally of the mindset that villains are more interesting, so I wish they would have spent more time on Deathstroke in S2. The Dick in prison stuff was stupid. Both from a plot standpoint and just logistically.
Agreed. He's white and well-connected. It wasn't realistic for him to be in prison. I think maybe they went light on Deathstroke since he got so much coverage in Arrow but still... It could've been better and without that whole island crap.
What happened to the old thread? in any case, just watched the first three episodes. It’s basically Batman: Death in The Family, from the Titans perspective. It’s dark as fuck.
Is anyone up to episode 3? I definitely did not expect that ending. So much happened in just three episodes.
Not sure if we’re spoilering so Spoiler Hank going from take him down hard to let me go alone and help this kid was a bit too dumb, but his character adds nothing to the show, so whatever. Red Hood getting Dove to pull the trigger was some Joker level villianry
Spoiler I guess I didn't see it that he was going to help him. I think I saw it as he was going to try and take him down himself. Jason knew he was a hot head and played him by crying and saying to come alone and that he didn't trust Dick. Jason is for sure doing some Joker level villainy shit. Dick realized that he was trying to turn them against each other. He has learned from what Deathstroke did to them. Shame Dawn didn't learn as well. I enjoyed Hank for what he was. He was the big dumb hot head with some funny parts. I'm excited for this season. Who is pulling the strings on Jason? We still haven't seen Blackfire and whatever is happening to Kory.
Spoiler The lazy play is that Crane is somehow pulling the strings. I am assuming the Blackfire story plays out soon because the Kory stuff isn’t doing it for me. Enjoying it since they aren’t as enough as last years storylines.
Spoiler Ya I was thinking they made it obvious with Jason using that inhaler to somehow stop "fear". It seems like he reverse engineered Crane's fear toxin. Maybe? I hope it isn't that easy. I think Blackfire is doing something with Kory's mind. The next episode is titled Blackfire. I see the rest of the episode titles are out there. Some are spoilery
