Clay’s business model is perplexing to me. I know that ginned up hatred generates more short term clicks, but his target demo is aggrieved white dudes who are angry at athletes, and Clay is basically encouraging them to stop watching sports - the thing he is then talking about and betting on. Like, if Clay convinces his paste eating audience effectively, they’ll ultimately have no interest in his show.
Unless that’s the plan. The sports stuff is just the gateway to him anointing himself the new Ben Shapiro but with 100% more Eddie George cucking.
