No idea I muted the commentary after origi was alone with the goalie and announcer said that was a good chance
What I really want to know is why this team notorious for its defensive shape didn't launch a zero on four attack with almost no time left???
Yeah, that's just giving the ball away. The throw-in was a more reasonable place to attack for sure but even then Allison was at midfield when the ball was picked up and the rest of the team was packed back on top of the 18 not expecting TAA to just hoof the ball out of bounds
If any other manager acted as insanely as he did they'd be way more heavily criticized. Because he is the zany German I guess people tend to disregard his antics for the most part.
If that was Rafa Benitez, he'd be on a skewer by now. But thank God we got the German everyone can relate to
we won 18/19 without him. just means little old city will have to defy the odds and scrap out a couple results
Frank appears to have ruffled some feathers with his press conference attacking biased sports journalists as the potential cause of his teams low confidence.
From SBJ The big question is how a league like the NHL reacts to the shutting down of a network that has carried its games for the past 15 years. The NHL’s deal with NBC ends after this season. The NHL has made it clear that it wants to split its rights between at least two TV outlets. NBC has told the NHL that it would carve out regular windows on its broadcast channel and USA Network, which is in 86.2 million homes, plus Peacock.
CNBC is pretty much open for weekend mornings but yeah that'd really suck. It seems like they have enough programming between EPL, NHL, and other random shit they put on so who knows.
My initial reaction was “WHAT THE FUCK” so give me some time to collect myself and I’ll bring the positive attitude
The writing has been on the wall. I'm glad I only have to look 2 places for games, rather than 3 as it is now. Maybe this will mean they build in better highlighting/sorting of the live games w/in the Peacock interface. For the peacock boycotters, this will suck.
If they go full-cock with their shitty product, they're going to have a lot of pissed off subscribers
Wow, I’m sure there prior examples but I can’t think of any other networks completely dropping a channel
The shitty thing with all these apps is channel surfing. If I want to switch back and forth between an EPL game, a Championship game and ESPN Gameday some Saturday morning, I need to switch between 3 different apps: Peacock, ESPN+ and YouTube TV. That sucks ass.
So I assume this season finishes as it’s been going Then 2 options for next season: A) Continues like this one for first half then Peacock only for 2nd half B) Peacock only Then the contract is up and we go to ESPN+?
Dortmund will likely have their 3rd coach of the season shortly. May expedite departures of Haaland, Sancho and others.
