I think the civ6 multiplayer desync bug was finally fixed. I played for like 3 hours the other night with another human player and we didn't desync once
Games that require collecting materials and building bases don’t do it for me. I’m not creative enough to do it solo, and don’t have enough friends to get into them.
yep. You have to opt in to pvp so grieving isn’t like rust There are a couple of TMBers that play, maybe we can get a server going
Will get it eventually. I love factorio but I'm horrible at it. I watch guys on YouTube play and I'm just in awe. The scale of Dyson seems enormous.
Just got it the other day and I like it so far. Would possibly be interested in a TMB group but I don't know how much time I can devote.
Downloaded Vallheim this morning - pretty fun. I’d be interested in a TMB server if someone who knows what they’re doing wants to start one
I still cannot get over how much fun it’s been playing Total War games in this rig with a 27 inch monitor After 3 years and 600 hours between Rome 2, Attila and Shogun 2 on a 15 inch MacBook. Feels like I’ve died and gone to heaven tbh I might even fuck around and buy the Warhammer games
been playing civ6 after the platinum edition was on sale on steam without fail when i get a good start spot i will be surrounded by barbarians
It makes the early game a little more interesting but it can also be a major pain in the ass Randomly they seem to have way more advanced units than they should which is always fun
I like playing with Barbarians, a good way to get wary units some XP. Key is anytime a scout comes near kill him, then go get the bases close to you as soon as they pop up to keep them in check. Late game can find an island full of barbarians and convert them to join you, or wipe them out for xp
typically i would do that but i've been trying to get okay with germany and mostly i'm just trying to build that crazy hansa/commercial hub complex asap
So, I finally finished building my pc desk. Cost about a hundred bucks with the mount. Pretty happy with it. The door opens and that’s where my headphones hang and my controller charges.
still playing civ6 incredible spawn. next door to a mega science wonder. 3 barbarian camps surround this tile.
still playing civ6. still sucking. still hating barbarians. still hating my "friendly" neighbors who settle a city right up in my shit germany's production though

I plan on playing solitaire on it.
Now you have me looking into this. What made you decide on the Lumos, vs say the Velox? Anything specifically?
Spent very little time thinking that thru. I used their desktop setup screen and never speced it out. What do you think?
how much did that set you back if I might ask? I'm researching a new build now myself, its been 5 years since I built one
I built pretty much the same one with both cases (that's the only difference from what I can tell) and it's about the same cost.
Yeah. I dunno since you said that it made me check and it's basically the same price. I don't mind that it's less catchy than the corsair glass but if it's a better case I'll ask them to switch it if you think I missed out. I don't really care.
Nah from what I can tell it's mainly just cosmetic and visuals. I was thinking about going with that larger option but it was something insane like 28 inches tall which wouldn't even fit under my desk lol
lol that's actually what I did after I typed the message, that's a damn fine machine, futureproofed and all that, but yeah, i can imagine the tears
Aint it the truth. Good content creator community though, some of whom try to put out educational content, zizaran first and foremost.
just ordered this. apparently ABS is Newegg's inhouse brand. i personally don't give a shit about having a window or colored fans but that's what the kids like these days https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali489/p/N82E16883360084?Item=N82E16883360084 can't wait to play civ at 200 frames instead of 100
looking forward to the story about why/how nvidia introduced a line of gpus that still aren't readily available 6 months after the initial launch
This is the main reason I'm thinking about going through a company like digital storm to custom build. If I did it on my own I'd never be able to find one of the new video cards without religiously checking twitter and other places. From what I've read these places have more access to the cards than retail places.
That would depend on if you have time and access to a micro center. Micro center is a tech store that’s pretty legit about offering things at a fair price.
bitcoin destroyed the gpu market. my buddy bought an nvidia 2060 last year for around $300. guys would cut off their right arm for that price now.
