My man took a timeout with 5 seconds left so he could score a td to make it a 17 pt L. That's my kind of petty.
The mutual disdain between Bob and Dab is something I see being brought to light in the coming seasons Had you played this season we may have even got a taste But it's been there for a solid decade at least
ND has now made its #5th total qb offer in the last 3 years must be out on Simpson who they offered last month https://247sports.com/player/drew-allar-46096466/
His tape is a lot of fun, I like him a lot. I also like Wimsatt, hopefully ND gets one of the 2 as they both look like guys who you can easily win 10 games a year with.
Seems like Wimsatt is waiting on an offer that’s not coming like Bama, Georgia, or Clemson. He might quickly take the ND spot soon after the Simpson sweepstakes shakes out if he doesn’t get that offer leaving Allar to PSU or Michigan. ND has been on Wimsatt forever so gotta think he’s still #1 on their board.
Granted all I've read is a basic scouting report on him but I always hoped we went after him because I'm tired of small accurate QB's with noodle arms.
Tennessee fans are having a little meltdown over the Ty Simpson recruitment. They seemed to really have convinced themselves that Josh Heupel was about to come in and swoop a 5 star QB away from Saban AND Dabo
I can't believe a really good quarterback would choose Bama or Clemson over Tennessee. Did he not see what Jarrett Guarantano was turned into?!?!
Are you really re: Klubnik? There’s been chatter that Florida was really starting to push for him too.
Sategna? Yeah he won’t be #1 but he’s an incredible athlete. Transplant to our area bc his dad is an assistant track coach at Arkansas. With us losing our WR coach to the Cocks we have too much ground to make up and not that great of a relationship to build on to begin with. I’d be more excited about him to join your track team than the football team though.
Spoiler: The Godfather chiming in... 2. Ty Simpson will pick Clemson Friday. https://n.rivals.com/news/fact-or-fiction-ty-simpson-will-choose-clemson-today
UF and UNC have been pushing for him for months but he has had Clemson as one of his top schools this whole time without an offer so that should tell you all you need to know
Yep, here's a recent summary from Rivals a few days ago, seems like should know more about his situation once Simpson announces this afternoon https://n.rivals.com/news/few-schools-standing-out-for-rivals100-qb-cade-klubnik Spoiler: Rivals Reaction Klubnik has kept tight-lipped about his recruitment, but certainly it's clear Texas, Florida, North Carolina and Clemson have his eye. The Longhorns aim to take two quarterbacks in 2022 and the hope is that Klubnik -- an Austin Westlake product -- elects to stay home. North Carolina's success has Klubnik's attention and he believes the Tar Heels have a bright future. The same goes for Florida, where McGee's promotion looms well for the Gators' chances here. Clemson has yet to offer and are one of two finalists for Rivals100 quarterback Ty Simpson at the end of the week. The Tigers have been gaining momentum with Klubnik, which may be telling.
Bama guys, how hard are you recruiting this kid? https://247sports.com/player/trequon-fegans-46058489/
Any feeling on this one #Georgia Bulldogs ? https://247sports.com/player/christen-miller-46096467/ Kurelic thinks it’s you all or us. Announcing April 4th.
Pritchett the OT out of Carver? It doesn't look like it. I do think we are recruiting Sapp out of Lee Co though. I think he's a guard for us. Don't think we are recruiting the LB but I've heard he's really good.
Think lee county kids are big targets for us. Norvell really wants to get into south georgia. What about the charlton kid outta brunswick?
Spoiler: Full article Keep an eye on Clemson for Austin (Texas) Westlake Top247 2022 quarterback Cade Klubnik moving forward. The four-star passer and state champion out of the Lone Star State has been building a relationship for months and it seems Dabo Swinney and his staff are turning it up for the 247Sports Composite’s No. 5 pro-style signal-caller and No. 74 prospect overall. “I went to dinner (Thursday night) and on my way back from dinner I was talking to Coach (Brandon) Streeter,” Klubnik said. “They were saying they weren’t sure what (Ty Simpson who ultimately announced for Alabama on Friday) was going to do there but if he doesn’t go there things are going to move pretty fast. “I tried calling Coach (Dabo) Swinney on my way home and he didn’t answer. I was like oh he’s probably busy. I get home and he’s been on the phone with my parents for 30 minutes, that’s why he missed my call.” Besides Clemson, Klubnik is high on Florida, North Carolina and Texas. He visited the Tigers' campus during the season and saw the ACC power beat Syracuse. “I think the people,” he said of what stands out regarding Clemson. “They make you feel at home. It’s a different feeling there than I felt anywhere else and I didn’t get to meet the people there like the coaches, I didn’t get to shake their hand but the people surrounding the whole place and the dozens and dozens of FaceTimes and Zooms I had with them they never changed their character.” As a junior the 6-foot-2 1/2, 186-pound Klubnik threw for 3,495 yards and 35 touchdowns with another 583 rushing yards and 15 more scores in leading his team to a state championship in the Lone Star State’s largest class.
