looks like CMU also has Dresden Simon going to the MAC finals at 141, he'll face Rider's McKenzie Bell
Can’t wait for ACC wrestling all day tomorrow. Think NCSU takes the title, gut should be some really good matchups tomorrow.
I stopped believing anything you say when you uninvited us from staying with you when nationals were in cleveland
Tariq Wilson vs Zach Sherman at 141 is pretty sweet on paper but not much action lol and just like that Wilson gets Sherman on his back for a takedown and two near-fall points looking at the rankings, these are some really good matchups. Is the ACC solidly the #2 conference at this point? Tariq Wilson with the really nice performance
149: O'Connor vs Andonian. Pulling for the upset for our VT fans holy smokes! Andonian with a takedown and four near-fall points? 6-0 early in the first period edit, wow O'Connor comes back to win 10-8 and hold off a late takedown attempt
157: Hayden Hidlay becomes the 10th ACC wrestler to win 4 titles, 29-0 in his career vs ACC opponents. First NCSU wrestler to win 4 conference titles. Think his career record is now 87-6, dang
184: Intermat has Bolen from VT at #1 and Trent Hidlay at #3. Bolen apparently 3-0 vs Hidlay in their careers Hidlay with a takedown in OT to win it 3-1
It amazes me how some of these guys are able to defend off an attack for an extended period of time by just scrambling. Multiple times I thought Camacho was in deep enough but Latona was able to defend out.

Typed this out this morning but forgot to hit send: Gonna say it right here and now--I could see Kollin Moore giving J'den Cox a scare or even beating him at Trials. And now:
Why is he so good all of a sudden? Different coaching? He was underwhelming most of the times I watched him in college
he was really good. 3rd as a freshman, 4th as a sophomore when Kyle Conel came out of nowhere to beat him twice, 2nd bc Nickal was amazing, then Hodge runner up last year. Was so shitty last year for seniors If what ggcd says is true and he’s up there with J’Den then he’s made some big strides
I guess I knew he finished highly and the Nickal buzz saw was real; just didn’t see him as a guy to beat well thought of international opposition, I guess
Oh he's absolutely not anywhere near as good as J'den. I just think with their styles, he can give J'den a scare. He has so many attacks in his arsenal and wrestles at an incredible, exhausting pace. J'den will at times turtle and go into defensive mode for an entire match because he believes no one in the world can take him down--and he's basically right. But if he does that against Kollin, or if he's forced into doing that against Kollin, and the match is very low scoring as a result, I could see Kollin in position to beat J'den with a late takedown, however unlikely that is. I do think he's cemented himself as the clear #3 at 97kg domestically.
It would be nice to see Tom Ryan coach our guys up on how to get out from the bottom just one fucking time. The number of 3rd period ride outs these guys let up is fascinating.
I was watching kerk vs pariss today and made the observation that he certainly looks like he came from OSU
