the team needs midfielders so bad. one guy to play with Partey and then probably another one or two players to provide depth. I get the Arteta criticisms, but when Xhaka is your second-best midfielder and it's a huge dropoff to the next guy you have to give him a break. especially since the top guy has barely played.
since I know there's no way we sign 3 midfielders this summer (be lucky to get 2), I'll hold out hope that Azeez can make an ESR-like impact next season.
At least Arteta addressed the fact that we are overplaying Saka but have to rely on him for goals. Rest him now please, the league is a lost cause.
Europa is a waste of time with this squad. However I don’t think any of us would be mad at a game with Martinelli and Pepe.
It’s a cup competition, we’ve shown anyone can catch fire and win a trophy. It’s at least something to play for outside of pride and trying to finish top half of the table
