Pretty boring half. Would prefer to see Martinelli out there more. I like Laca but if he’s gone you need to start sitting his ass to figure out what you have. I think he’s as reliant on him as he has been on Xhaka. Ceballos is damn near a zero.

I’d have traded Odegaard for ESR and Saka (assuming they’re good for meaningful minutes). A lot of interesting choices to make, best guess end up with Cedric at LB and Willian, ESR, Saka behind Auba. (I know nothing about Slavia Prague except they’re a bunch of racists)
Also love how they pin the ankle to international break after he put in a 90 minute shift after the break. I get it, just laughed at the wording.
So beaten down I can’t even get upset at Willian anymore at least ESR and Saka are back. No Ode sucks. And dropping Auba is a bigggggg decision
after hearing that this team basically man-marks similar to Leeds, I don't get the usage of Lacazette over Auba, but maybe Arteta wants a more stable presence in the middle without Odegaard.
I think with ESR at 10 it makes sense to bring in Laca as they have combined well together. ESR is much more likely to make the run in behind than Odegaard, and Laca makes that possible. but man, if a chance falls to anyone at the club I would want it to be Auba. So leaving him out is still very risky. On the other hand, he’s been trash lately so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Slavia are playing a teenage goalkeeper and backup center backs. Why aren’t we starting a more attacking lineup?
With these players this honestly feels as attacking as we can be especially because conceding here is disastrous.
