Was he the one who caught on fire while Ayo was out at the end of the season?

 

Not him, I thought they had another freshman go off for 3-4 straight games cause he usually didn’t play cause he was behind Ayo.

 

This feels neither congratulatory nor well wished.

 

Looking back, it was a bad fit from the jump. Michigan was recruiting him but always was behind ILL. General sentiment from the paysites was that Miller would go to ILL as long as Ayo went pro...Well, Ayo announced he was going to return and Miller still signed. Then Curbelo played well down the stretch and was on the ball when Ayo wasn’t, making Miller a 6’2 spot up shooter, which isn’t what he wanted his role to be, right or wrong. Curbelo isn’t going anywhere so Miller will always be second fiddle to him, so he decided to leave to be featured more I guess. Feels like a lot of that was predictable..

 

Fraser was playing pretty well to end the year. Lit UM up.

 

Frazier was a senior though

 

That's the rumor... apparently his mom thought he was a 1 and done and was pissed he wasn't the featured guard

Miller is really good. Sucks to lose him.

There isn't one. Everything i see is overwhelmingly positive.

I'm good with it, like the experience on the bench for Woodson.

Now if the other shoe drops and Michael Lewis leaves UCLA for the IU bench the old head part of the fan base is gonna collectively explode.

 

That makes almost the entire roster in the portal.

 

He's going wherever Conroy is going, as long as Conroy is at a big enough school.

 

This won’t belong here but Chet Holmgren is so ridiculous to watch in high school. 7 footers that pull down a rebound, lead the ball down court with no outlet and then pull up and swish a 3 when the defense has sagged to protect the paint is not normal.

 

He is a thoroughly average player. I’m fine with him taking minutes away from developing somebody that could be better.

 

That is good. My mind immediately went to Blue from Old School but that should probably be reserved for Jess Settles and Evan Eschmeyer.

 

The ncaa jumped the gun on giving that extra year of eligibility rule. They played the entire season.

What I saw was that he’s very talented but he thinks he’s in an open gym session not a basketball game. At this point he’s just a taller Rocket Watts.

I don’t think any “sparty’s” that watched him play are surprised or disappointed

Chin Coleman once worked for Tim Miles at Nebraska.

 

Did Minnesota ever stand a chance with him? I don’t really get too deep into basketball recruiting.

 

Possibly if we were better/more consistent.

 

If you told me that only one player would stay on the roster from last year's team, it would have taken me several guesses before I would have gotten to Ihnen as the player that would be staying.

 

Although, we brought Payton Willis back so we have 2 back from 2019-20.

 

We aren't going to be good next year, but the 'only 7 players and 2 bigs' thing is dumb. We will have more transfers come in to fill out the roster, including a couple bigs. Steffon Mitchell from Boston College (originally from Shakopee) is someone we are considered the favorite to land.
