You can solo with an nvidia gpu by using alt f2 to go into the screen capture mode. Which is nice, hopefully it’s not patched.

 

Yeah but there’s so many natural breaks it’s not hard to play if you have kids or are distracted by other circumstances. Deaths just take you back to a checkpoint. It’s very convenient.

 

And patch notes just killed the game for me. Nerfing loot and character skills in a PvE is stupid.

 

Is there a way to lock stuff so you don't dismantle/sell it on accident?

Yeah. Some of the builds are running content way to easy with the bullets. It’s not a challenge. There will be buffs but it just was way to easy for a couple of those builds.

 

Pretty big technomancer nerf, but I can understand it. It’s clearly a support dps class and while all classes should be able to complete the game solo and farm content, it makes sense for endgame comps.

Dove into this 2 days ago. Haven't had a ton of time but up to lvl13ish and WT6. although i'm going to have to bump it down to WT5 because I was getting wrecking in WT6 before I quit for the night.

Going full Anime Trickster. Still need to unlock Ventnors Dagger but am going to combo that with the Temporal Slice + Spinning blade for solo and the Time Freeze Bubble for group play. Will put most of my points into Anomaly Power and Cooldown in the bottom row of the tree. The right mod combos can have the Dagger + Blade combo doing 1.5mil dmg every ~8-10sec.

Think they already nerfed the Twisted Rounds which was basically letting Tricksters run around without reloading pump shotguns doing 2-2.5mil and one-shotting everyone except bosses.

 

I tried doing this last night and it said it would cost me 4 character points to respec. Is that just something until you get to endgame and then you can respec for free?

 

They should work in loudouts so we can have easy access at multiple builds.

Just changed my build to a bleed build and enjoying it.

Also in end game, don’t trash all blues. You can increase rarity and turn this into good gear if it has the three attributes and mod you want. you get to select a second mod from three random mods.

 

Good idea. As a techno and still leveling (29 WT11)I haven’t even really looked at attributes much past health. What are some OP stats across the board to keep? I’ve seen lots of scuttlebutt on cooldown reduction but I’ve stayed away from the subreddit since launch to keep spoiler free from the story. Hopefully I’ll finish tonight.

 

DPS builds are a lot of bonus fire power, close / long range damage.

The bleed build I am running for devastator is a lot of anomaly power status and cool down reduction.

But I am going to start saving gear in stash when it has good like attributes. Builds are so early I am not 100% what is best. Some good videos coming out on builds and gear now. I just need to watch some to get a better idea.

 

Hopefully we can do some groups for endgame expeditions. After playing solo for so long I feel like it’s going to be a totally different game in groups playing off of each other’s strengths buffs etc.

 

Yeahi’m hoping to get to play with you folks some pending available time/kids, but I’ll have to totally respec most likely. Technomancer and built for solo not support so far. Really hope they add some sort of saved build system but I doubt it.

 

have devastator and pyromancer buddies that love having a trickster in their group. they take out the normies and I take out elites. lots of fun

 

That makes a lot of sense because Techno’s struggle with rushers (especially with cryo turret on CD) and AoE in general if not for gun mods and skill CDs. Single target with toxic is insane though.

 

My current build is earthquake and impale bleed. It melts the lower level enemies and works as an interrupt. I’m on tier 10. Just solo gold tier 9 run.

I did story on WT 5. I like the grind more than the story.

Maaaaan I was CRUISING through the desert temples (kinda reminded me of the movie Stargate) on WT8 at level 26. Went out lookin for those stone rubics cubes and on the last one the "Shaman Warlord" that floats around using the blue shield and can hit you anywhere, through anything with lightening bolts... I had to go all the way down to WT5 to get past that guy. I'm trying to play everything on the highest WT available just bc it really hasn't been that tough with my build. But if I get to a boss I'll give it at least 3 times dying to learn their mechanics and try a couple strategies. 0/5 and then went 0/3 at WT7 and 0/2 at WT6. I was prepared to drop it down to WT1 the next attempts just to get the fuck out of there.

build is super active though and a great change up from my last looter/shooter being Division 1/2. Hardly even fire my weapon. Just sprint/roll around using abilities that have ~7s cooldowns

 

Those guys were no joke. My cryo turret plus toxic rounds with weakness built into my skill tree helped a ton. Had to focus fire them though and dump multiple clips.

 

Loving the game so far, level 9 on WT5 so far. Started as a devastator but switched to Pyro before I finished the first act.

Love these kind of looter shooters, the more linear game play rather than open world is way more fun to me. So far I've got a decent amount of loot and upgrades without having to wait much.

While leveling is it worth doing any of the repeating side quests? And do they scale with your level?

 

That whole area of the game was tough for me because of their shields they throw up. Anytime I swooped in for slice skill they would activate their shield and it would absorb 10K of damage somehow. The Shaman guy's lightening was just dumb though. It hit me to critical damage and destroyed my shield in 1 shot everytime so if I didn't have a clear shot on him after to get some health leached back his next "lightening storm" that followed right after the strike would kill me.

The mechanics of leeching and shield vs. health as far as which one you want mods to help regen I haven't looked into at all. Very likely that I could have a level 2 gear mod or level 1-2 weapon mod that would help me out a lot defensively. Pretty much everything I have equipped is offensive skill based besides one "below 30% level health" Golem thing that saves my ass if I derp roll into a corner and get stuck.

 

Do have a pretty solid endgame idea for looting that I hope pans out. Once I finish the last 4 slots of skill tree the skill boost will have a ton of synergy for stacking to do really high damage. Hoping once I get more Epic/Legendary gear I can get some rolls that help out defensively.

 

I worked a 12 yesterday and ended up passing out. I’ll be on tonight though at some point to try and finish the story so I can join in the endgame fun.
