Was the match really Newcastle transcending all of their previous form and looking great or was it us making them look great? Put me in the latter camp.

There’s a talent problem in the back, for sure, but the overall positioning, the ragged shape, the challenges on the ball when the opposing team has the opportunity to cross, the communication when trying to play out... just inexcusable this late in the season. If anything, the problems are getting worse.
