I like seeing teams spike balls on the mound after retiring the side. Reminds me of Corbin's first five years. If we can get UT and VT paired in a Super Regional it would be must-see TV
Dunhurst is great at a lot of things, but he’s tremendously overrated as a receiver. He’s been bad today.
Irish dominated Georgia tech today to take our 6th Acc series this year. Made a masterful hire two years ago, wow
I despise Ramage and the dude just never has it. Wish he would have moved on after last season. He sucks
I am not sure DVH wanted to win this one cause there is no reason Ramage should have even came out this inning.
our starting pitching sucks, but we have a stupid deep bullpen let’s throw the shittiest guy we have for no reason. Love van horn but he really fucked this game up
also, it continues to pain me that they're not allowing staff to go to sporting events yet. personally, there is nothing better than watching a lax game and then walking right next door and watching a baseball game on a glorious spring saturday. have missed that so much this season.
Seems like he punted with this dipshit batting lineup and letting Ramage throw BP late in this one. No idea why Starks or someone like that didn’t come in. No idea why Goodheart didn’t start because he’s white hot at the plate.
There's some old lady that has for years and years been sitting along the 3B line scoring every game at the SEC Tourney with a Tennessee hat on. Regardless of whether Raleigh or Serrano even had them there, she's there scoring games. Probably pretty ecstatic right now assuming she made it through 2020
As a fan of a baseball school, how do I go about conducting myself? Just shit post about a subject I have no knowledge about?
I went in 07, 08, 09, 11, 13. And went to every game each of those times except 2009. It's so incredible, especially baking out a car in that big ass parking lot. Also saw IU soccer win a title there in 2012 so good times
Keep me posted if you come back. I go to at least a couple of games every year. We have firm tix and I’m usually the only person who cares. I was at that IU/Georgetown title game in 2012.
Thinking ahead to legalization and about how awesome it'll be to just drive down to Bham pick up some Mr P's avoid seeing any of my old Auburn friends go to tourney games and see elite arms flash their nasty breaking stuff... While not breaking any laws, gonna be sweet
Zona had scored double-digit runs in 6 of their previous 10 games before their 5-1 W over Cal last night. Bears again keeping the super potent Zona offense in check even if they are losing 3-2 in T5 Oregon looking to take the series from OSU and they lead 2-1 in B4
San Francisco makes it 8 in a row with a 7-6 W over Santa Clara to take the series and improve to 13-15 and 8-3 in WCC play. You'll recall Santa Clara's AD was the WCC DI Council rep who changed the league's vote on the third assistant coach proposal and ultimately defeated it in the process. As of August 2020 Santa Clara's student body was 2% black and they had just 7 black faculty members. So fuck that school and go Dons San Diego lost to LMU 9-5 last night. They lead 6-0 in T6 right now so in position to even the series and improve on their 19-6 and 5-2 WCC mark. I want to see them do some damage in the tournament. Rich Hill is in his 23rd year at USD but they haven't been to a Regional since 2013 so seems they are kind of in purgatory
jfc I was so wrapped up in IU soccer tonight I forgot about the game with Illinois ha McCade Brown went 5 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 9 SO/7 BB on 101 pitches and Braydon Tucker went 4 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 SO/1 BB on 54 pitches
Washington is so bad. Lost 8-1 to ASU today to drop the series. No shame in losing a series to ASU, but Huskies had 10 hits and drew 5 walks but still could only muster the 1 run. ASU now 18-8 and 7-4 in Pac-12 play while UW is 10-16 overall and 2-9 in league action UW was in the CWS in 2018 and then failed to win 30 games in 2019 and now they've fallen off a cliff. Lindsay Meggs is in his 12th year there and has only made 3 NCAA Tournaments. Even with that CWS trip in 2018, I think he is in serious danger of losing his job
in early March Oregon took two of three from OSU and held them to three runs in that series. They've got a chance to sweep a second series today and run the season record to 5-1. Beavers have scored only 2 runs so far this weekend
Gamecocks up 7-4 going to the bottom of the 7th. Mizzou has not been happy with the home plate ump’s strike zone, and I don’t blame them. He is calling balls on the line of the left-handers box a strike against righties. Kerry has used it to his advantage and already got one guy tossed and almost a second there to end the inning.
