Endgame is all about mats and leveling up your gear with titanuum. Currently I'm challenge tier 10 my weapons are level 43 because your level plus CT plus 3 is the max level your weapons and equipment can get.
He's been the toughest boss for me so far just because of my playstyle. The bosses like that Orc Lord looking guy Spoiler one that killed Jakob I can breeze through. I don't even know if that guy hit me at WT8. Every 8s I would roll > knife skill + slash x2 = ~35k damage. Roll away and come back.
I was WT12 when I fought him i think I died 10 times because if I made mistake he could one or two shot me.
pretty much my mentality as well. haven't even worried with playing with friends the past 2 days just trying to finish the story mode to get to endgame and then squad up and wreck.
I don't know where the disparity in WTs comes from when playing through. +4 seems like a lot higher for you than me considering I've done every sidequest/hunt/bounty that's been available except for like 3 of the historian ones. Maybe you did more wiping in the process of getting to this point in the story or is this another play through/replaying some side missions at higher levels?
I'll go back in look it was my first playthrough I did redo a lot of Hunts and wanted to help friend which elites really help your WT rank. I was at 50 plus hours when I saw the credits roll
I'm still at level 27 I couldn't imagine trying to WT 10+ right now. I actually think the character level + World tier difficulty are damn near perfect balance for progression in this game. Maybe the first couple activities on a new WT are pretty damn tough but once you get your first few gear drops it's very well balanced
I'm on Steam no clue on console Yeah WT and Challenge tier balancing gear, drops, and enemies is money. WT11 in up is when the game gets spicy
So I was level 28 WT 11 when I fought him, I was WT8 and level 18 fwiw. I have no idea where the disparity is I never lowered the WT once through out the playthrough
I'm guessing it's because I've never joined anyone else's game and played it's just been 2 times someone has joined me for a couple hours
There is an inventory wipe bug they are working on. Seems to be if you join someone else’s game it can glitch. Should be resolved soon but just be careful.
Even when I joined them my WT got lowered and you can only progress WTs on your highest possible level.
Just finished the story a few minutes ago. Loved that your PC was just kind of a dick; it reminded me of renegade Shepard in Mass Effect. Putting the pieces together and figuring out why everything went wrong was very entertaining. Finished at WT 12, almost 13. This was the hardest part in the game for me. I played Trickster as well and just got wiped like 10-12 times and never lowered the WT because I'm too stubborn. The chain lightning was ridiculous. Great game. Just solo'd my first expedition for gold rewards. I'd love to team up for some endgame raids.
Hit Tier 11 on expeditions. Failed first run, but got a Legendary helmet from pity chest. Didn't know you could get Legos from those.
I saw one article said to finish the main quests before doing side quests, as you'll get better loot. I am level 25, WT9, don't have any legendaries.
Well I should have read up on crafting outside of the mod-switching aspect of it. Finished the story mode wearing a piece of leve 23 gear and one lvl 25 because I was looking for only gear with Anomaly + Cooldown as 2 of the atts (and the purple 23 gear also had one of my skill mods already equipped so I could change #2 and get exactly what I wanted). Both pieces were 10 levels behind current drops by the time I finished. Now that I boosted those pieces up to the Max wearable level my WT is so much easier in the side missions I’m circling back to. read the instruction manual before operating heavy equipment people. I’ll probably just keep leveling the gear I have up this way unless I find some 1-mod-off purples with anomaly+cool or some legendary sets.
what build are you running as far as skills, tree, and main attributes you look for on gear? I respec’d my skill tree after experimenting with Borrowed Time. Basically invincible while it’s active bc of extra armor mod. Got my Cooldown to ~7.5s for blade, time, and knife. Special tree modifiers for +50% anomaly after Deception, +50% anomaly after Movement. There’s also the one at the end that’s +10% Anomaly for every enemy in close range. between those and the Knife 2x on the first hit factor... Throw Knife > Pop Time and run to big guys > Blade, Blade. Doing around 80K + 40K on the two blade hits depending on how many enemies nearby. did a couple T3 expeditions last night and dies both times running into a fucking Barrell or small ledge that the potato animation wouldn’t let me get past. Killed by little red squirrely aliens after 1-shoting the elites they spawned by
anybody have an idea as to why in coop expeditions I can't self-revive? It says "effect resisted" above me and I just stay down whenever the button circle completes
I was running a low cooldown high anomaly build with life leech. Temporal blade x2, disrupter rounds x2, and the knife. Most of my class points were in the lower tree. I kind of adopted my playstyle to a legendary LMG that i got with the chains ability and anomaly enhancement. It has a 100 round magazine, so i was constantly using disrupter rounds. I've switched my style to a more shotgun playstyle and kind of getting my shit rocked until i get better gear for it. It does hit for 150k on elites with knife and disrupter rounds on my current shotgun, but i die more.
Currently WT13, Level 29. First time bumping down my WT a level. Shaman Warlord is a shit elite. Absolutely no reason why it should have so much HP and an attack that phases through walls.
holy fuck this game gets hard. Once again I'm stuck, having to defend this generator. 5th times the charm!
So I have a question about WT. I'm running a shit build but have been dying on WT5. When you die, you lose WT experience correct? But also if I bumped down to 4 I wouldn't gain any WT exp?
Finished the story on WT13. Holy crap that was hard. The freaking floating shaman health pool was insane. Took me back to the Division 1 bullet sponge days where it would take an entire gun's ammo to kill that one mob alone. Did my first solo expedition on Tier 5 and it was a joke hahaha. Finished it in like 12 minutes. Unlocked T6 and now doing it on WT13. I imagine like most things in this game it ramps up hard and quick.
Wish they took time to expand on each bounty when you kill them outside of the journal entry. Quick dialogue instead of just a bullet to the head. Something like when you kill Reiner and have a quick chat.
Yeah some of those suckers took 6-7 times to kill and made the death sweet. A nice cutscene with vocals would have been awesome.
Was looking in the subreddit and holy cow people are complaining a lot about getting their gear wiped. I'm almost afraid to keep playing. I wonder what's causing it.
2 kf them i think took 10n9lis ooveo Crossplay and joining other peoples games. I'm sticking with solo for the most part until they get a reliable patch
Yeah I want to play with you guys but would hate if one of you got your gear deleted. Some posts show that people get stuff deleted playing solo which is wild to me. I'm not sure how this can't be patched in like a day but it seems to be a struggle.
Man that Titanium ran out quick upgrading my gear. Still no phantom dash I joined a random team expedition last night and it threw me right into the game. My guy had on no gear or weapons. Was ready to rage and uninstall thinking I got glitched but I opened up the inventory and went to the pants and there was my normal pants unequipped (nothing else in the entire INV) and once I equipped them everything else reappeared and was auto-equipped back the way I had it.
I used the Twisted Rounds during campaign with the shotgun early but hadn't really figured out or unlocked much of the skills/mods to keep from running out of ammo in most fights. I think I'm going to start saving gear for a Twisted Round shotgun build as well. Played with a (aka was carried by) a Trickster last night on a T10 Expedition who got something like 35Million dmg compared to my ~9M. Wish there was a way to look at the gear people in your group have. Kinda curious how much higher level his gear was. Mines in the 41-43 range and I had no business in a T10 Exp in the first place but my anomaly build makes it easy to survive and help out with elites when I'm out of my league. Except when I do the one Expedition that ends with the insurgents warehouse disco club Unntsss Unntsss Outrider Detected. Outrider Detected. That enhanced lights the whole fuckin room on fire and I go down instantly every time. Also the self-revive glitch is bad and needs to be fixed.
Pretty much. Damn near all of the trickster skills are close-range and there's been about 85 times I've tried to roll left/right/back to bail after rushing an elite and using abilities and just roll into 2-3 little red aliens or barbarians with scythes and get stuck on them. I've died at least 2-3x more to those two types of enemies than any of the elites. Except Crawlers bc that little ground pound that sends out a net of blue waves hits me every time it pulses.
I won’t be touching matchmaking until it’s clear it isn’t linked to any more inventory wipes. Is that resolved yet?
